  1. How long is the longest anyone has ever had it at the level 9.9 scale of it?  Where each attack throughout every day is as bad as it can get, day after day, on and on.

I'm not asking about a total cycle duration where you may have weaker surface-level ones at the start or end of the total timeline, I'm specifically asking about the extreme deep-penetrating types that sooner or later always go away, but you sometimes wonder, "What if they don't go away?".

Has it ever happened, where they don't go away?  I doubt it but how do we really know, if that person ended their life when they thought it was never going to end.  To provide a measurement of a maximum known timeline, what is the longest period of time that someone could "bet on" that the really bad ones finally slow down and get weaker?

  2. I felt suddenly ashamed, hearing you're speech. Because i suddenly discovered the responsibility, and that i don`t do anything, beside hiding, leaning to you're effort.

I hope you can put those thoughts aside and know we're on a roll (together) now:)  We are such a small group within the populous that the idea of such a group (in my life time) was practically inconceivable over the past 32 years.  So I celebrate all of you!  I celebrate the world wide web!  I celebrate the hope that I have when before I had none.  Oh and I also drag every single soul that I love into my office and say "Watch this video.  It's a documentary of my life with CH.  I'll make you some lunch while you're watching!"  Not one single person has left the room before the video was over!!!!  It's like I'm finally legit, not just a whiner, but a true soldier in a very mean battle with a very mean disease.

    hugs sincerely,

    Cindy

Link to the documentary or name of it?

Forgive me, I'm very new.  I don't even know what half of the abbreviations here stand for.

  3. I'm usually on the floor, kicking my legs out over and over and over.  I roll around side to side, but not front to back.

I also pace a lot.  I probably walk a mile by the time it's over, doing circles in the house.  With my head cocked off to the side and pointing up(can't really look down).

During the course of one episode, I will take 3-5 hot baths.

Seems I'm not the only one that resorts to hot baths.

I've never been cleaner in my life.

Saying "oh god, oh god, oh god" over and over.  Sometimes, just a weak high pitched wimper over and over.

  4. Good feedback, Bob.  Thank you.

I've been "experienced" plenty in my youth.  Not for recreational use, but in a quest for wisdom and insight into the human psyche, as well as spiritual.  A couple people asked me if that could be related, so it's been in the back of my mind.

Personally, my monster came after a vehicle accident, so I always doubted the other theory.  But it's good to cross it off the list.

Glad to be here and looking forward to learning a lot from you all.

  5. I see a lot of talk about shrooms and acid.

It seems that a lot of the people talk about these things loosely.  I wonder if everyone that has these headaches has done shrooms or acid in their life before?  Could it be a precursor to them or be related or a cause?

I have a million questions, of course.  I'm trying my best to read a lot before asking too much, but this is one of the first things I'd like to cross off the list.

PS:  I am not anti-psychs.  Very pro actually.

  6. With regard to research done on our condition - WHY?

Has there been any progress with research in recent years?

Can anything be "mapped" within our brain to show a cause?

I'm new here, and I can not believe there are others out there.  I'm happy to find this place and you people.  Nobody in life can come close to understanding how much I suffer.

    The monster under the bed...

    :(
