great thought david, leslie 2 Smiley we share many similarities my friend
Hey, I've got news for you! AO, David, Leslie -- I don't know if you guys have ever met another clusterhead in person, but if there ever was a reason for attending a CB conference, that is the one! It's like meeting your long lost family!
-
CNN just reported that BP replaced the oil well cap with a wedding ring and it has immediately stopped putting out.
News at 10.
Sorry, but it felt like this board could use a little levity.

tingeling,
You have such an innocent and amazing outlook!! I just love it!
I do not however consider you naive. You are wise beyond your years!
-
You forgot to mention Jubitz Truck Stop! Or is that not there anymore?

Hey AO,
Go back to our sister site and reread your thread.
I broke my own rule and posted there becuase I believe in what you are trying to say. Don't ever let others make you feel that you are wrong when you know in your heart that you are right!
Great post!

Sorry I guess my attempt at humor missed, here on the east coast you cannot throwa rock without hitting an Ikea, so the tought of listing it as one of many great reasons to go the conference struck me as funny.
Ageed David! But Fun Guy almost had me with Reason #2. ;D

To paraphrase an old adage:You can lead a horses ass to water but you can't make him read.
LMAO!!!

The truth is not guaranteed to elicit positive responses and a thank you.
It's a complicated issue and all you can do is offer your honest thoughts, do your best to differentiate between facts and opinions, and understand that people will react based upon their history, not yours.
I agree completely Bob. It's just that some of us have thicker skins than others.Â
When I first had success with the alternates, I went back and tried to "enlighten" the masses on ch.com, only to be flamed from several directions. For a while I enjoyed the 'argy-bargy', but it got old fast and I realized that it was messing up people's threads. I simply chose to quit posting there and didn't for a few years.
After a while though, I started going back... mostly lurking ...but posting every now and then, especially on the "Medications, Treatments, Therapies" board when I felt I could answer someone's question. When the flaming started, I would simply PM whoever I was trying to help and stay behind the scenes rather than get into a war of words with people and mess up someone's thread.
I think that a lot of the old troublemakers are gone from that board now, although as Bob says, "The truth is not guaranteed to elicit positive responses and a thank you."

Alleyoop mentions that it makes them really tired.
I think you're a bit confused about who said what lucidity...
But just for the record, I agree with agentorange -- the seeds produce almost zero trippiness, but they do seem to make me a bit sleepy. But that's just me.

i would say to go for the night time dose, every time i used the seeds i got really tired afterwards and found my self napping and waking up to hitCarole

Slide by Thursday or Friday and say hi.......
I'll try.

I think that we really should consider a Georgia Meet & Greet. I know of at least 5 other clusterheads in our area.
Next weekend comes to mind.......<cough, cough>
OUCH! I think I know what you mean, but unfortunately my daughter's wedding reception is next weekend.

What do I do about the residual headache I have ALL day??
Some have had success with taurine supplements. Taurine is one of the main ingredients in Red Bull and other energy drinks. I don't know how much taurine they take, but it might be more effective for all day shadows. Maybe someone who has tried this will come along and advise.

Donnie may be right -- maybe watching the game isn't such a good idea... at least tonight!

Does anyone know where you can find a regulator that fits a welding tank that goes to at least 15 lpm for under $100?
I know I saw one on ebay a couple of weeks ago for around $30 with free shipping. But now I can't find one under $200.
We need to help Carole out here, so anyone that can help, please post or shoot one of us a PM.
Thanks,

We can have a conference by ourselves.
I think that we really should consider a Georgia Meet & Greet. I know of at least 5 other clusterheads in our area.

Tim, you and David need to go this weekend to the Mets game. They are playing the Braves. What more could you ask for?

Hi Bob,
As you know, I was unable to make it to Chicago last year, as much as I wanted to. I just could not afford it. It's for the same unfortunate reason, that I won't be able to attend again this year.
Is it back to Chicago in 2011? Hopefully, my financial situation will improve by that time and allow me to attend.
For any of you out there who are on the fence about going to Portland, by all means go if you can. I know that due to the economy, everyone (except the government) is tightening their belt. But if you can possibly find a way to swing it, I know you won't regret it! I was blessed enough to be able to attend the first three conferences in Chicago, Austin and Atlanta, and wouldn't trade the experience for anything in the world! The knowledge and insight you glean from these conferences are nothing short of life changing. And if you've never met another clusterhead before, well ........ then you are in for a real treat -- they are some of the most fantastic people you'll ever meet!
Oh, and there's one other attraction to these conferences -- they are a lot of fun!!!
Have a great conference, and I hope to see everyone next year.

I gave up on drug therapy two years ago. Being a zombie was just too much for me. I have learned to cope with and manage the pain. However I am still searching for the answer.
Your suggestions and advice are very welcomed.Â
Myheadhurts,
I know of several people personally that have had success busting migraine with psilocybin, not sure about the other alternatives. But I would think that LSA and LSD would probably be efficacious also.
Your best defense against this disease is knowledge. The more you know about what you are dealing with and how to deal with it, the better off you'll be.
Others will be along with good advice. Many here deal with not only cluster headache, but also migraine.Â
In the meantime, I suggest you click on the "Forum Jump" at the bottom right corner of this page. Select "ClusterBuster Files" from the drop-down menu. You'll find a wealth of information there.
All the best,
bobb

Is this it?
http://www.bibliotecapleyades.net/ciencia/ciencia_thirdeye.htm
If not, do you know where I can find it?
Nope, that's not the one I'm thinking of. It hasn't been published to my knowledge. Maybe he will read this and post or get in touch with you.

Yep! Nice connection and thanks for the links. Im currently reading "DMT: The Spirit Molecule" by Dr. Rick Strassman. It is a fascinating book. The pineal gland is discussed at length in the book. I highly recommend it... and not only because the study was conducted at my Alma Mater. I suspect that DMT may be found to be a highly effective treatment for CHs due to the fact that the body already naturally produces it and that the psychedelic effects dont typically last as long other hallucinogens (15m to 2hrs as opposed to 4+ hrs, depending on how it is administered: ayahuasca is a different story). They just got to figure out how to make its effects not so .
I look forward to finding and reading "DMT - The Spirit Molecule." Thanks!
We have a resident scholar on this board. He not only has had success busting with DMT, but has also written a paper titled, "The Biological Function of the Third Eye."

Any O2 tips advice experience for a poor woman???
Carole,
See the "Menu" button at the top left side of this page? Click on it, then click on "CH.com Oxygen Page."
bobb
PS
The welder's O2 is the only way to go if you don't have insurance. I've been using it for years now. If you decide to go that route, let me know and I will give you some pointers.

Hey Tim,
I've got a pretty good idea of whom you are talking about.
This guy does fantastic work not only on this board, but also behind the scenes. He is truly one of the most giving people that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.
