Do you have any other ailments besides Cluster Headaches?

I am a Chronic Cluster Head as well as

Miigraines, tension headaches

I have Irritable Bowl Syndrome(frequent flyer)

Exzema on hands and feet.

Lower back arthritis

I don't have a receding hairline, that's for sure :)

The only other thing that I have is the Horner's and that kinda goes hand-in-hand with CH for a lot of people.

I had to wikipedia Horners....

Only thing I have is small tin pupils. Looks like 2 piss holes in the snow.

I should get checked out.

If you have a Horner's you would probably know it already.  You can't hide from it .... and it can't hide from you.  Extreme light sensitivity in one eye .... often a droopy eye lid ... one pupil will be perpetually smaller than the other .... and it will be very dry above said eye.  It's a pretty simple diagnosis.

Best regards,

steve

I have everything listed so far and more...  Well except the eczema and horner's.  My Eczema turned out to be psoriasis and my psoriasis turned out to be Psoriatic arthritis.  yeah lol

No horners but I do have a droopy eye most of the time.

No receding hair line either,  I look a lot like BB's.

I needed that chucle after last nights epsode.whoaaa what a ride...no fun

hmmmm Only trait i have is tiny pupils. Barely see them, my eye drops during an attack and sinks in....

i read on another site about checking ones labito.

My testoserone level is in 99 percentile.

My dad watched on news last night and reporter was saying people with CH should try having sex....

I said most of us with CH would be insulted by that statement as sex is last thing on our mind, and last night screaming my head off there isnt a remote hope in hell I could even try, anyway back on topic....

I wonder there has to be a common trait amongst CHrs with other disease or something.

I texted her back my head was starting to hurt and come over quick...

Hehehe!!!!

I have Horners with the pupil permanently constricted on the CH side. One novel thing is that with the Horners, the iris has changed color. Otherwise, just getting old arthritis and not a bad case of that.

I'm sorry to be so straight forward, but how old are you?  I was under the impression that the color change only happens if you are very young and have a Horner's?  This is something that I was pretty concerned about when I was first diagnosed.  I am 36 so I thought that this wasn't something I needed to worry about.

64. Eye specialist at Duke only found two other cases on record. I doubt that you need to worry.

Wow, ok.  Thank you.  I didn't even think it was possible ... now I know that it is .... it's just super uber rare.

Thank you, and best regards,

steve

Spiny listens to industrial metal music when cleaning the house, so she still qualifies as very young in several ways at least.  :)

I had heard that before as well.  Here is a newer article that was just published a couple weeks ago.  I can assure you, I have tried in the past.  I'm not sure where these people get this information but it sure as hell didn't work for me. If anything ..... it made matters worse.

At the risk of sounding too graphic here .... we all know that it would just be physically impossible to be the "aggressor" during an attack.  You on top (missionary position) with your partner under you.  That just isn't gonna happen.  Luckily my wife (now ex-wife) was kind enough to "go down on me" at the onset of an attack to see if it would help.  First, imagine how hard it is to maintain an erection during an attack ...... and secondly, if you are able to do so, imagine the hit becoming twice as bad as your body convulses.  Where do they come up with these ideas?

Has anybody had any luck with orgasms and CH?

Personally, I think that article was written by a German dude who heard "not tonight honey, I have a headache" from his wife one too many times :)

I have increased spinal pressure (psuedo ceribri tumor) which when acting up dramatically increases my headaches,  right in the middle of an episode and getting three to four a day.  I have had one every night for about the past five years to begin with so this is fun.
