for the most part. maybe a few mins slower sometimes.

I have suffered from chronic migraines sense I was about 11 years old I turned 51 this year and I had to use Imitrex at least the generic brand sense I was 22 but I am able to control them using Lyrica before that I was using Gabapentin both seem to keep my migraines down to where I get them once every 6 years instead of 4 to 5 per month and when I was 11 I was getting them every day. So I hope this helps those with another choice of medication.

I used Imitrex that had expired 3 months past the date, and it worked. It got rid of my migraine.

I did not have any side effects or issues. it was all i had on me until I got home to get the ones that were not expired in case i needed another later on. 

I would say I bet even 6 months past the expiration date it would still work.  Just might take longer for full effect.

I think some people have found that even years after the expiration date it still works.
