In March of 2017 my husband and I traveled to Weatherford, Oklahoma and he saw Dr. Mike and received his first Jesus shot, he had wonderful results.. 8 months later, November 2nd, to be exact we went back, he and I both received the shot from Dr. Rick, as Dr. Mike had passed away, they told us that it was the exact same as he had received in March. He or I, either one had the same reaction as his first time. After calling several times to see what could be done, finally last week the receptionist returned my call, telling me that we would have to come back and get another injection, paying full price... I asked to speak to Dr. Rick and of course he was to busy to talk to me. Finally this morning he returned my call, stating that everyone was different and no one had the same reaction, after the nurse had already told me that several people who received the injection at the same time as ours had no results, he also said that we could come back and get another one for half price.... We're on a fixed income and can't make that trip every month, regardless of how much it costs. We don't mind paying for it, if it works, which it didn't! In my opinion Dr. Rick should make this right!! Anyone agree???

I feel your frustration, I'm not up to date with this site and the topic of the "so called "Jesus shot as I'm sure there has been much debate on the subject. As for my experience with the nerve blocks, i am from the UK and was given the nerve blocks on a regular basis for at least 4 years, as we couldn't determine whether they worked for so long as I have to fly across to see him and receive them! "Given the fact that flying is a trigger "!5 years ago and I refused them on my last appointment, My specialist also agreed it was not happening for me, although he has had success with other patients!

Take care

Hi, many thanks for this, CHF.  I wonder if you can get anything like this in the UK?  I'll read the threads.  I also had an ONB injection back in 2006 but it didn't seem to do anything.  The problem is that, like now, I wasn't having attacks then. Just horrible incessant shadows.  There's no doubt that my CH has changed in its nature over the past 15-or-so years.  The question is, has it changed into something else and what will work for it now?  Currently having no joy with verapamil.

Good morning Verna!

So sorry to read that ya'lls 2nd round of dexalog12 injections didn't work as well!!

We've had just a few folks who've reported here about Dr Mikes protocol but I know many clusterheads in the Facebook patient communities who have had varying success.....and some who didn't get as much relief from their 2nd round.....Hollywood Dan, who initially found out about Dr Mike initially has had great success for close to 2 years now and I think 4 rounds.....I'll shoot him a message as I'm pretty sure his last round was after Dr Mike passed away
