Hi fellow fighters,

I‘m Sunil and I‘m 29 years old from India and currently living in Berlin, Germany . I guess the beast has finally taken hold of me. My CHS started in the first week of Jul 18 and have gotten worse since then. I‘m scared of going to sleep, anticipating the beast will hit me. I’m going through one as I write this post. I feel like jumping out of my window to end this madness. I am a long way from home and miss my family a lot now. But reading the forum, gives me the hope that I will be able to beat this. I went to the doctor and she prescribed be Sumatriptan but just two tablets.  My next appointment is in 3 weeks( that’s how it works in Germany). I absolutely miss my life and I believe once I’m done with this episode I will start to appreciate the simple things in my life and lead a healthy lifestyle. Btw, since I ran out of tablets, I started drinking redbull whenever I have an attack. I think it‘s definitely helping. I wish everyone the strength to fight this devil. Stay strong!! I will keep you posted.

Hey Sunil,

We know what you've been going through and the good news is it doesn't need to be that way...  I've sent you a message with things to do to control your CH.

Take care, hang in there, and please keep us posted.

V/R, Batch

Hey Sunil, I am 31 and I believe my clusters started for the first time ever about 5 weeks ago and I am still in them. The redbull/caffeine has definitely worked for me, and I too share your feelings in being afraid to go to sleep. I find that smoking marijunna helps counteract the caffeine, and I am searching for a better and long-lasting alternative. I will let you know if and when I find one.

And, I share your thoughts - EXACTLY when it comes to appreciating the small things in life ,and being able to breathe and move and think clearly and happily without having a headache. Definitely going to improve my appreciation all the way around.

Hi Sunil<
Yes there are a lot of things you can be doing and it sounds like you will get better info on this board than at the doctor that prescribed 2 sumatriptan tablets.

Best of luck. You'll get thru this.

Bob

Thanks n1b
