Google the Stanton protocall.

She has a free face book support group

It has helped me and many other stop migraines and prevent them.

When you say salt for migraines, what is the protocol?
I get cravings when I get migraines, they are salty foods chips, pretzels. Cheese is another and chocolate to name a few. All these make the headache worse once the headache starts so I am curious about how this works.

Follow these steps to reduce the frequency of migraine
1.Follow a plant based diet.
2.Find out which food triggers migraine and avoid that food from the diet.
3.Stay hydrated .
4.Avoid food that induces migraine-like coffee, fried food, fermented food, ice cream.

5.Take fruits and sweets as an instant remedy.

Please, no one do this! A plant based diet is NOT the cure for migraines. Quite the contrary. Fruits and sweets sre the FARTHEST from an instant remedy and it is widely acknowledged that sugar is deadly.

The truth is that we do not know what triggers migraine. We have guesses but the research isn't there to back up any of it. If put in an environment where you don't know what the weather is, you don't know what food you are eating, and you don't have any external stimuli, migraine is still unpredictable. Eat healthy, get exercise, stay hydrated. This is the best advice anyone can give someone who is living with migraine.
