Hello, i am new to the world of CH. i am 36 years old and got my first "cycle" about 5 weeks ago. I have been getting about 4-5 attacks a day and see no relief in site. I take Imitrex as an abortive which works wonderfully, gets rid of the attack within 30 mins. Insurance only gives me 9 pills a month which is crazy as i go through that in 3 days. I need help "breaking the cycle" as i am slowly losing my mind, job and personal life. I know i am new to this and have a lot to learn but i can use any advice, tips, support or anything else that might give me some hope. i am going down a dark hole right now and it would be nice to know that there is a light at the end of this tunnel. FunTimes, thank you for the advice. i am willing to try anything at this point. Do you get then 4-5 times a day like i do? it is really starting to ruin me. i work in an office and have to take Imitrex at least 3 times while at work just to function.

Hey Jimmy, i have been getting at least 3 attacks a day for 5 weeks now. I am taking Imitrex as an abortive. I am going to ask my doctor about Verapamil on wednesday when i go in. How long did it take to start working for you?

Hello, can someone please lay out the vitamin D3 treatment. how much? how often? how long? where i can buy it? I have been suffering from cluster headache for almost 5 weeks now. at least 4 a day. i am taking Imitrex which helps abort the pain but i need to try and break this cycle or at least cut back on the amount of attacks i get a day. i am new to this and need help getting this under control.
