Yep I was given a spinal tap on my very first ER visit back in '95. The neurologist came into my room with some students and he took a sample of my spinal fluid to check for viral meningitis and signs of bleeding.he then sent me to another facility for an MRI. I became a patient of his and he gave me my diagnosis of cluster headaches.
