Crystal the real beast or beotch of this thing is you just gotta find what works for you. And I hate to say this but what works may work for few years and then not. Some health tips, exercise, take vitamin d and magnesium. Its better to do numerous things rather then one. Employ medical and natural. See Maxalt works for me very quickly but it doesn't for you. So everyone is different. Cold may help too. The body over heats in an attack. Ice on the head and what not. Allergy meds can help as well.

Well, there is something though to be said about exercise. The blood vessels during an attack are strained. Exercise helps open them up. I am not saying I would hop on one during an attack but it has helped in shadows and prevention. Just saying, don't egg me.

Let me introduce myself. I guess I should have done that first but I got ahead of myself. I have suffered with these on and off since a kid. My longest remission was on Paxil for 5 years. This year was a big cluster fuck slap in the head to say the beast is back. I believe I may experience migraines on top of them because I am terribly sensitive to light. What helps me is Maxalt, Paxil, ferocit, Imatrex, breathing, and the migra stick, vitamin d, and magnesium. I don't have insurance so its hit or miss on getting the meds I need. But this year, I am seeing myself and us as fricken warriors. No matter how hard hit we are we get right back up...year after year we are still here. Keep fighting the good fight. Larry
