All of these responses and concerns are absolutely valid and I thank you all for the pointers and comments. I will address this as best I can but understand that while the survey is still open I cannot discuss much about the intent or questions as I cannot risk 'contaminating' the data. I constructed this questionnaire for the purpose of reflecting on only one experience in an attempt to keep things from getting overwhelming. I could write a book on the positive and negative experiences I personally have had using alternative medicines, even with me being a non-cluster sufferer. I can see how it would cause great anxiety to state, "please respond using your most significant experience"....well, significant experience may have been a bad trip or a good trip. I have bad trips that made a world of difference in my introspection of a Being. What I am focused on is how the transition from the medicine differs from (a) while in the moment compared to ( the residual effects post treatment.  It's a snapshot, a photo of one moment in time for the one substance used that one time. One of the answers we hope this survey will address is, does using these particular substances have an effect on the lives of those suffering with cluster headache? What changes? Positive and/or negative? Writing psychology investigation papers is not easy, I've had the input, advice and counsel from many people during the preparation of this survey including some very familiar with cluster headache. If you have not taken the survey yet, please do so soon
Thanks
