  1. I'v been up on a mountain in New Mexico for 20 years now. While I miss the green/growing of the N great lakes area I do not miss the effect pressure variations had on my head. I believe that a lessening of allergies figures in as well.

I didn't move here for headache reasons; but, what a bonus.

  2. While oxygen works more often than not for me when it does not I'm a bit more likely to slide into a migraine post cluster. So its been a long night.

That said: I opened this thread with curiosity and dread having read the title as Cluster Headache Porn

    RM,

Also a VA care recipient.  Don't bother with a concentrator, they can't deliver the high volume O2 that's needed to abort CH attacks.  The VA provides me with an unlimited supply of "E" tanks.  They're easy to store and transport.  You can buy your own high flow regulator (the max they would provide me was 15lpm).  I've bought my own 25lpm regulators a long time back.  You can start huffing at 25 then turn it down as the pain eases.

Myself and many others have tried the concentrators, and they're simply useless, due to the low flow.

    Cheers,

    J

That has been my experience exactly.

  4. O2 has been a life changer for me. It doesn't always head them off but any lessening of volume helps.   My experience is that I have only a few minutes to to get to my O2 or it's to late.

I have both, migraine and CH.

I as well; isn't it wonderful to be EXTRA special?

I'm a psychological outlier in a number of ways as well (dissociative super powers!).
