I started having clusters approximatley 8 years ago.   I am chronic and daily.   I was out one night enjoying the rodeo and drinking a few beers and hanging by the fire and I got hit in the head with a 2x4.  Well, at least that's what I thought.   I went to my knees balled up clutching my head and just wanted to literally die.  Shoot me, knock me out,  do something please, take me to the hospital something!!! Snot running down my face my eye ball watering like a faucet my skin was on fire my hair hurt my nose felt like someone put a cigarette out inside of it... just burning and hurting and I could not breathe out catch my breathe... I had to be dying. 

It was a 2 year neurology journey,  sleep tests,  morphine,  pills,  heart pills, blood pressure pills,  epilepsy tests,  ms tests,  brain scans, mri's, nerve traces with radioactive dye, looking for tumors,  anurisims , prednisone enough for an elephant and changed the color of my teeth,  then finally... finally 2 years...1 nerve scan...1 tiny issue in my trigeminal nerve in my right side that was noticed a vein was pulsating on the nerve...while activley in a head ache,  you have a diagnosis of cluster headache and then ...the words... there's literally is  NOTHING they can offer you that will STOP this daily ride...NOTHING !!!

Then I found busters... forums,  tried lots of different things.  Got turned down for oxygen was told it was over dose the way I required it so the doc would not be responsible and prescribe. I found small canisters online that worked and were affordable not 100 o2 but close enough to help.  Found energy drinks,  benadryl,  all sorts of awesome antihistamine regimines !!  I can usually abort now in about 30 minutes, which is a win!!

Just sharing to tell you... you're not alone and I thank all of you for sharing you make it easier for me to feel somewhat normal lol.
