On April 12th 2007, I suffered a ruptured aneurysm.  If I was not at work, (at a Medical Center) I would have died. A heart surgeon was walking by when I had a seizure/stroke and he performed CPR on me and got me to the ER.  I was then taken to Vanderbilt Hospital where they performed surgery on my brain to clip the ruptured vessel.  I was in there for almost 3 weeks, then I was in rehab for about a month and after that I went to outpatient rehabilitation.  I smoked 2 packs a day and that, as far as I know, is what caused the weakened vessel to rupture.  Since then, I have suffered from post craniotomy headaches which include (but are not limited to) a constant headache, migraine headaches, and cluster headaches (per Dr. Brian Plato, Headache Specialist).  I am on my D3 regiment, have an o2 tank at home, and keep my sumatriptain shots close by
