  1. 1.Restarting the D3 regimen because I am stupid and stopped. My test came back with 30.2 so I am ready to boost it to 100. 2.I am going to try the new O2 steps of hyperventilating before I start it 3.Going to talk to Dr. Plato about DHE and also the other options for the ATI Stimulation 4.Starting back on 5-meO-DALT after I learned that the maintenance dose should be taken every 5 days instead of once a month
  2. I bought a 100 tank filled with O2 for $274 and refills cost around $20 on it from Welding Supply in Louisville, KY. I also have another 100 tank that I got filled. from a welding supply company. I have the Harbor Freight valve and the Cluster Buster mask. I swap tanks with them instead of filling mine which means that all the recerts are done by them.
  3. Hey, I am the IT guy, Alex, who helped with the CB conference this year and I do not know who anyone is as far as their screen name and matching it to their faces. I know I have met almost everyone and randomly chatted on the boards with some in the past but I wanted to say hello to all and I had a great time at the conference It was great meeting with you all!
  4. I feel ya LTDTheOtherGuy. I have been and am in your boat along with a lot of others. My boss does not understand what Cluster Headaches are. He thinks they are normal every day things that everyone suffers from. I have some friendly co-workers though who at least understand that they are different. I have been down the road of medical expenses because I had a ruptured brain aneurysm which caused my clusters to kick off. I have to decide if I want to go back to Occupational therapy or go back to my neurologist this month and if I can pay for the pain killers or the anti-depressants I am on (I have GAD). If I were you, I would find a Traumatic Brain Injury counselor in your area who knows about cluster headaches and see if they can help you. I found one around here and it helps to ease my stress talking with them. Matthew 11:28-30 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.â€
  5. Listen to : Comfortably Numb Brain Damage Hopefully you will understand
  6. Welcome DNM4684 I am glad you are here! Now you can meet all kinds of folks that share your struggle.
  7. I want to move to Hawaii because the barometric pressure hardly ever changes there: https://www.securevideo.com/blog/2014/09/23/u-s-cities-barometric-pressure-variation-full-list/ Also, the reason why my picture is Arnold Schwarzenegger in Total Recall is because when the pressure drastically changes, that is me..lol
  8. I took it for 3 years and it may have helped a little bit. It depends on the person and how they react towards it like for instance Topamax causes me to get severe headaches whereas it may help yours.
  9. To me, it's almost like giving birth to tiny cannibalistic pygmy's that, once birthed, continuously throw spears at your spot. I am a male so I have no experience with giving birth but the agony that women go through sort of reminds me of my headaches

  11. The questions are statements I made recently to my wife and she was taken back by it. I explained to her that my reasoning is because I constantly have a headache 24/7/365 that is anywhere from 2-4 and I also have cluster headaches that are 6-9 that are not regular but there is always a chance of me suffering from one. I just want some normalcy in my life and I am willing to take a risk/ give up some. I am not being dramatic with this post but analytical Please vote so I can find out if I am an idiot for thinking this.
  12. I am trying Belladonna and Bryonia plants extract. Not sure if they will help but worth a shot.
  13. Hey everyone How have you all been doing with your Clusters? I have been doing okay with them because they are usually about a 5 to 7 on the pain scale and have been recurring about 3 times a week. I still cannot shake that constant headache that I have. I also noticed that I cannot speak clearly after I suffer from one, I have a stutter and I cannot make full sentances. Every time I have a cluster, I try and remember all the people who I met that are in the same boat as me. I cannot remember the name of the gentleman who helped me with the 5 meo dalts at the conference but I can be reached via email at kingdrakos@aol.com
  14. Kurt, It was so nice to meet you all I am sure you are as overloaded with information as I am!
  15. I am excited to be coming today I will be driving from Louisville to Chicago after work and hopefully be there for the meet and greet tonight. My cluster headaches have been horrible over the past week even with the radio frequency ablasion on my supra orbital nerves. But without that, my pain would be at around an 8 or 9 level and I would be down for the count. I am going to ask if there is some way to repair the surgical closure that is causing these headaches. May God be with you all on your safe journey to the Conference or if you cannot make it, that you have a blessed and hopefully less painful day!
  16. I had my ruptured aneurysm over 8 years ago and they performed a craniotomy to stop the bleeding. Every since then, I have had horrible headaches and tried different medications and oxygen to attempt to alleviate them. I contacted the surgeon's office and they would not help. The neurologist that I had defined them as cluster headaches. The frequency of my headaches was 24/7/365 and they became so severe at times that I have had multiple trips to the ER. Most of my daily constant pains were about a 4 level and I could deal with those because when one hit, it felt like a constant sucker punch with the feelings of hopelessness. Those happened about 2 times a day. Over the years, I have lost hope because I have tried about 15 or 20 different medications but 2 years ago, a neurologist had a list of every medication that I had tried and pointed me to a pain specialist. Dr. Gary Reasor put me on Methadone and I went loopy. He then wanted to try radio frequency ablationing and it changed my world Now I have 1-2 headaches 24/7 and the most severe headache I have had was about a 6 or 7. When it reaches 5 months since my last shot, I can feel it coming back and that is very depressing but then I get the shot and am good again. I believe it was Dr. Reasor who told me that the reason I have these headaches is from a damaged nerve when they performed the craniotomy. The clinic that Dr. Reasor is at is called Metro Pain Associates and it is in Louisville, KY. I am not saying that everyone needs an Ablation but if somneone has had head trauma and is suffering from Cluster headaches, then they should look into it.

  18. Dr. Gary Reasor who is a Pain Specialist in Louisville, KY. He was there for me when I had given up and gave me a new life
  19. Excited about the Conference :)

  20. I just attempted to reserve a room and they were booked. I am still coming though
  21. Hey everyone I have not been on here in awhile and for a good reason. I went to a pain clinic recommended by a neurologist and he did a radio frequency lesioning on me and my headaches were gone after a week! My background is that I had a craniotomy due to a ruptured aneurysm. When they were cutting or stitching, they hit a nerve which caused cluster headaches. I could barely work and was in such immense pain all the time. I had 4-6 headache days per week. Pills helped a little bit but it was the RFL that saved me. I am supposed to get one every 6 months and I will because I am the person I was before the headaches and ruptured aneurysm ;D
