how is the 02 working now?

We were on cloud 9 yesterday after he dosed with shrooms for first ime in 25 yrs the day before, it gave him 24 hrs PF and I was practically shouting from the rooftop...'not so fast' the Beast says, he came back last night 12, 2, 4, 6:00 like clockwork..worst attacks I've witnessed him have in 30 years (but he's been in remission 4 yrs). Newbies to shrooms for medicine that we are, I was planning our celebration party already...."whoaaaa nelly". Thanks for the reassurance that dosing with shrooms can take a while and also we didn't know he needed to detox from imitrex before doing them. After 15 shots in 22 days, talk about toxic and $$$ with no insurance! One other piece of very important info for any of you on Paxil. His doc took him off Paxil 5 days before this last cluster started Jan 17th. She said it wasnt working anymore for him and prescibed him Zoloft. He's wanted to be off antidepressants for good for a few years now anyway so he decided to take neither. I think the sudden withdrawl off Paxil threw him into this cycle but he refuses to start taking anything. Any feedback on that would be great. Paxil withdrawl in of itself is a mind bender, throw CH on top of them, receipe for disaster. Todays mission: welding 02 and mask, our only hope left, doc will still only prescribe 2L !

he's 215lbs so thought he should increase a little to 2+ gr - laughed his ass off for a hour and said even if it doesn't stop the cycle it's worth it...to laugh again for a change! Rolling on the floor laughing saying 'it would be hilarous if his eye would fart'. That didn't strike me as so funny but I played along He's coming down a little now, says he can feel the shadow, darn, (heavy sigh) but it's still been a much needed break.

your response is good timing, we got some mushrooms and he ate 1.5 gr 1 hr ago, nothing yet? Thanks for the O2 info, I'm going to welding supply tomorrow.

good luck with your seeds and wish us luck, he just ate 1.5 g of dried mushrooms, first time since 87' and we're both a little nervous but soooo thankful we located some. timing could not be better, after last night's 4 - k9 and very little sleep we're going for it. Today is start of week 4

thanks Dan, we just recently learned the benefits of mushrooms, just can't find any. After spending $1350 in imitrex injections this go around we're feeling desperate. Also, his doc won't prescribe more than 2L of O2. We borrowed a 5L concentrator but it's just not enough. Can you recommend a specific site that tells how to get hi flow oxygen? How can it be that the medical profession appears so clueless and why don't they care?

such a shame - my husband Randy, 53 is going through his worst cycle in 20 years. We live in Colorado but he was born and raised in Wisconsin, hence a major Packer fan. He's not even watching the tv today, exhausted from three K9 last night. His attacks have never lasted more than 3 weeks, which will be tomorrow. Praying the Packers bring us a win and an end to this cycle, scary depression is starting to overcome him. Any sufferers or supporters in the Colorado Springs area?
