  1. Glenmark generic is what I've been given this time, which tbh hasn't been as effective as previous prescriptions As always happens the first pack you grab is the one that went unfinished last time and previously had Actavis branded pills which seemed very effective thinking about it the only difference must be in the coating which perhaps inhibits absorbtion, I'm crunching the buggers up now
  2. I can identify with 'stress relief' clusters, mine come every 2-3y and seem always to fall when I'm decompressing after a long period of work stress This time I have been hitting the zolmitriptans hard and I do think I'm having some 'rebound' - longer or double session headaches where one wears off only to wake up in 2h with another On booze - yes, a beer or a glass of wine absolutely the worst
  3. wow just in a storm at the mo, haven't checked what's current for a while then found this site I'd heard rumours of the Mushroom cure (didn't know LSD also works) but tbh I'd always thought that when my head is mashed the last thing I'd want is a trip! I was no stranger to chemical entertainment as a young man so know what is entailed but I'd be terrified to try it, I suppose it couldn't get MORE painful but isn't this a recipe for a legendary Bad Trip? I think I will survive this round (Zolmitriptan, my only friend) as I' 3w in and I think it's fading one question - does this approach 'cure' in the long term or is it something you will always need to do when in a Cluster?
  4. I'm 'in' a cluster right now and hadn't googled CH for a while, landed here and your post struck me right away. a theory I have had for some years now is that my attacks start when I relax after a period of stress I work in IT management and in my job drink bucketfuls of stress daily (luckily I sh1t out spreadsheets so, swings and roundabouts) My Clusters happen approx 2-3y intervals but seem to always coincide with coming off a job, pootling around for a couple of weeks and then BANG. There are some other factors, diet, alcohol, sinus problems that actually 'trigger' me but I seem to be vulnerable when relaxing - in fact I've had notable attacks when on holiday (nice)
