CHfather
If you want to see what there is in the medical world regarding CH, new and old, it's pretty straightforward: Go to pubmed (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed) and type cluster headache into the search bar at the top of the page. For most things, you can only see the basic information, but some will show you more.
lukula
In my struggles with this affliction I've found little relieve other than NSAIDS...Which at 68 yrs of age does not offer any long term promise other than some sort of side effect gastro-intestinal disorder. What I've been noticing however is the connection of an upset stomach with an incoming attack. I was under the impression that the head pain was creating the upset, but now that I'm paying closer attention I'm noticing the reverse to be true...Stomach upset first, then the attack. This would imply any number of possible causes and remedies. Is anyone out there in CH land aware of this connection?
Maryo52
Hi there, my CCH tend to be most intense in the back of my head, and sometimes they go down to my middle back (same side). Clusters know no rules. The stomach could be a type of aura, or perhaps it's the cause. We each are our own puzzle.
