Arde Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 "Pharmaceutical companies don't like cures. Really, they don't—that's the sad thing. They like treatment. Something for cholesterol or high blood pressure that you [take] for years and years, every day. That's where the profit is." Therein lies the problem, not only for Ibogaine, but for LSA, psylocibin, LSD, or any other effective drugs that the pharmaceutical companies can't get patents on. I've known of Ibogaine as a treatment for addictions for many years now, and things haven't progressed at all as far as legality. I think more and more people are becoming aware of the effectiveness of the entheogenic drugs as treatments for migraine and cluster headaches. What do you think the chances are that they will ever be legalized? I think 'fat chance'. BOL may eventually make it to market, but what will be the price? I for one am not willing to pay an arm and a leg for a drug whose only advantage is avoiding what I consider to be a pleasant experience. I noticed the pricing on those Mexican drug clinics. A round trip to Africa would be cheaper (and safer). Thanks for the links, very informative. Live Free Quote
