court1218
I had heard that flouride (which the government puts in our drinking water) is known to cause kidney stones and I started looking into it a little more in it's relations to other body parts. I found this article on the potential affects of flouride on the pineal gland ... it's a rough idea ... but I wonder if anyone has eliminated flouride from their drinking water and what were the results. Here is the article, basically it discusses the affects on animals, how it possibly calcifies, how it may block melatonin, and just a ton of stuff. http://www.fluoridealert.org/health/pineal/
court1218
Just to clarify, the melatonin and pineal gland caught my eye and made me wonder at the potential to affect CH. It's a bit random ... but Kidney Stones are the only other time I've seen someone in comparable pain to CH.
Mwib87
This got me thinking about an old Coast to Coast show i heard a while back, they where talking about the potential of White powder Gold to decalcify the pineal gland, among other things. This might be too far out for most but you might want to look it up, I think I will try it out! http://whitepowdergold.com/
tommyd
Sorry, but a quick visit to the white powder gold website just screams scam. Some text from the site: The “What is it?” literally translates into Hebrew as “manna”. Even a modern dictionary may define manna as “What is it?”. The manna was the “bread” taken by the high priest, the Melchizedek priest. Moses told the Hebrew people at one point, “You have not kept the covenant, and so the manna is being taken from you. But it will come back in the end times. When we will be a nation of high priests, not an elect high priesthood.” The manna, the white powder of gold, is the food, the light, one takes into their body. It is the Food of the Gods. A modern day Rabbi might tell you that no one has known how to make the manna, the white powder of Gold, since the destruction of the Temple of Solomon. The technique is, supposedly, a lost art or lost knowledge. But others argue that when the high priests left the Temple (when it was destroyed), the took the secret out into the desert and organized a commune called Qumrun. There, they became the Essenes. Eventually, the white powder was used to nourish a woman named Mary, and eventually, she gave birth to a man named Jesus. Some claim that it was the white powder of gold which allowed Jesus his many gifts, including his ascension into heaven. These gifts include: perfect telepathy, the ability to know good and evil when it’s present, and to project thoughts into another person’s mind. There is also the ability to levitate, or to walk on water. By excluding all external magnetic fields (including the Earth’s gravity), the white powder of gold takes one beyond the four dimensional space time continuum, and the individual becomes a fifth dimensional being. They can literally think where they would like to be, and go there. They can heal by the laying on of hands, and can cleanse and resurrect the dead within two or three days after they died. They have so much energy that they can literally embrace people and bring light and energy back into them.  And all this for just 50 bucks a bottle. Plus shipping and handling.
Pixie-elf
I don't drink tap water, because my taste buds are bitchy, and I dislike the taste of fluoride and chlorine in it. I've had to switch back to it a time or two when we couldn't afford bottled water, and it made no difference in my CH. I didn't drink as much water however, because I didn't like how it tasted. court1218
Thanks Guys! Pixie, that's good to know. The treatments for the water was going to be about $100 ... and that's a lot if it isn't going to help.
Pixie-elf
Thanks Guys! Pixie, that's good to know. The treatments for the water was going to be about $100 ... and that's a lot if it isn't going to help. Honestly, if you wanna try it, I'd just go to the store and buy some bottled water. It's a lot less expensive. There are also purifiers you can buy like Brita, or PUR at the store to clean the chemicals out of the water. I'd go with one of those before getting the water treated. You could try it for a month or two, see if it makes either of you feel any better. My Grandpa was allergic to chlorine, so he noticed a major difference when switching to bottled water. It can't hurt to try it, it just didn't help my CH any. Mystina
Oscar
Fluoride is known to cause kidney problems by people who had problems allready with their kidneys. Also children and older people can get problems with their kidneys. I remembered Fluoride was discussed before here in the Netherlands. After reading your article here I thought what was it about the Fluoride. I found a Dutch article that says that America and Canada put Fluoride in the tap water. The reason is to prevent Dental caries. The reason had to do with bottled water, it contained Fluoride so they put it in the tapwater also. In 2008 the Netherlands and Belgium decide after a discussion that they will not put Fluoride in the tap water. So here the tap water is clean of Fluoride. Also there is a Fluoride warning for Children. Parents should be careful with toothpaste, they can't use to many, this has to be for a reason. "In sommige landen, met name Ierland, de Verenigde Staten en Canada wordt een deel van het drinkwater gefluorideerd. Anno 2008 wordt dit in Nederland en België na discussie niet meer gedaan. Het gebruik van fluoride ter voorkoming van cariës begon in Amerika in de dertiger jaren van de twintigste eeuw, toen de effecten merkbaar werden van onbedoelde fluoridering van bronwater door de zware industrie" Can be found: http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fluoride Also Pineal Gland (in Dutch pijnappelklier ) is documented in one of the biggest news papers here. It said Fluoride could damage the Pineal Gland. Also it says it doens't make sense to ad Fluoride in tap water and toothpaste because countries that doesn't ad this had no better healths. There is some english ad on in this article. Also there are some video's in English addes in this newspaper. Seems Fluoride is one big discussion, is it good or not ?
