devonrex Posted April 17, 2024 Posted April 17, 2024 Was reading a study that linked autoimmune disorders as higher in adhd people and biological siblings, curious if there may be a link to clusters? How many here know they have adhd or are pretty sure? 1 Quote
devonrex Posted April 19, 2024 Author Posted April 19, 2024 To note, I was diagnosed years ago, so that is another. Quote
CorbinP21 Posted May 3, 2024 Posted May 3, 2024 I’m diagnosed and medicated. Anecdotally, dextroamphetamine seems to have a short term preventative effect for the 4-5 hours it’s in my system. I’m episodic, and today is actually the first day that I have had one break through within a 4 hour window of dosing during a cycle. It was definitely on the lower end pain wise. As it’s obviously a stimulant, makes sense as to why it works for me that way. Quote
Penelope Posted December 5, 2024 Posted December 5, 2024 I am Autistic with ADHD. I have Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, an autoimmune disorder, cluster headaches and migraine. Quote
Wizardstring Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago I’ve had similar questions, and what helped me was tracking symptoms closely while also getting input from others dealing with both. I started using Migraine Buddy to log attacks and patterns—it’s not made just for clusters, but it still gives good insights. If you're curious, check out more details. It’s been useful for figuring out triggers I might’ve missed. Quote
