jaymc
Hey guys, This cycle has been real weird for me this year. Usually I get hit around Canada day June/July and i get fairly regular (same time) hits 1-3 a day. Ranging anywhere from 1-9 with a few 10s per cycle. This generally lasts about 2 months. This years my cycle started on a Hike in mid April and is still going on. Mostly I get 1-3 small annoying shadows per day. Been like this since April. Im now on Verapamil 240 per day as of about 3 Months ago. Prior to the Verapamil I was getting small night hits waking me up and small CH hits. Nothing above a 4. Since ive been on the Verapamil only shadows. In my previous cycles (the last 5-6 years) a shadow meant a HIT was coming. My hits were regular timing and my cycles only lasted 2 Months max. Im now almost on 5 months of weird shadows. Basicly what im asking here is: Has anybody had a odd cycle like this? longer but less intense? Could i possibly be going CCH? spiny
Fixed. I know that the D3 regimen can lower your intensity. So, that may be part of shadows only gig. Have you tried adding some Benadryl at bedtime? That can help many. As for the change in length of cycle, I think that is common for many of us to experience at one time or another. Don't worry about going chronic. It isn't likely and worrying won't help. For some, medication can extend a cycle. Your dose of Verap is low and perhaps that plays a part. I don't know. But most require a higher dose to kill the pain. Another thing is the weird stinking weather this year!!! Barometric changes and such are not good for many CHers. That may play into it. The best that I can say is longer with lower intensity beats longer and as intense. Any change except going PF tends to make us all nervous!!
