Hey Kevin, I can't recall if it was ever mentioned to you, but did you try aborting with DMT. aside from the obvious need to get oxygen asap, DMT has shown to be really helpfull. I usually fall asleep after an attack because it took all the energy I had (even in daytime), but it helps to stay amongst the living for a few days instead of going straight to zombieland when in cycle. I'm definitely no expert on the d3- regimen so I'll leave that to others. Hope you get some PF-time soon!

No real triggers imho. My wife thought it was because of my first flight in 9 years a few months earlier, I never thought so. did make me very anxious about my next flight. there’s still some posts around here of the moment I got on that plane. I was so close to crying, never been that afraid, ever. It was the change of season, March 24th Soooooo, to be sure what could’ve triggered it, this year I’m jumping on a plane on March 22nd Hopefully a little bit less anxious, but I really am testing it, don’t I ?

Hate to break it to you, I've gone 10 years between my 1st and 2nd cycle. Didn't even know what it was the first time. Dr's never found anything and that was that. Some time later i learned about CH and wondered if that could've been it. In march 24 the beast visited again, and i knew right away. Although I got treatment pretty fast and the attacks stopped, I never stopped shadowing since. Headache all day, every day... I'm almost getting used to it

Cluster or Migraine App that is iPhone friendly
Inno replied to Chris FrazzledbyCH's topic in General Board
Migraine buddy includes clusters these days It actually has great functions of adding meds or other ways that gave some relief or not. most ways of aborting are already in the app, so it's really easy to add them in a log. If it's not in there, you can create it yourself it's definitely worth a try. I think it's really helpful to keep track All I have to do is try to remember start/end times so i can put it in when it's over -
I've never even had a full blown CH in public, so I don't know what would happen. When we're going somewhere an someone else drives, I have the tendency to be in a hurry and forget to bring my stuff. This is actually the scenario I am always worrying about the rest of the evening after I realise I have nothing with me

exactly, the valve is fixed on the tank. the 1st outlet however should provide the full 200bar, as noted on the valve ‘P1:200bar’

I have a valve with one barbed outlet and one threaded.. the inside looks as if CGA540 would fit. It has (what i think is) a push pin in the middle. The thread doesn’t fit the CGA540 thread, which I believe is G5/8. It has to be close though. Here you can see all specs I can find on the valve. I cannot find anything close on google with that info and the inside

The regilator arrived, doesn’t fit to the bottle How can I possibly know what fitting i need.. this is really getting hopeless.

Thought this topic could use a little boost. I only just found a regulator that goes up to 25lpm with CGA540 connector. I ordered it on amazon US, and hope that it fits my bottles (the connector is kind of a gamble). It should be arriving next week. No way of finding this in Europe. I am still looking into building an affordable demand valve. My initial idea was to build it with a cheap scuba regulator and bottle, but found that too expensive, till i saw this post. Now my only question left is about the 2 connections on the regulator. is it so that the barbed and diss-connector have a different output? or does the diss provide 25lpm as well, and is that plenty for the scuba regulator? If 25 is enough, i can probably build that as well If not, it's probably impossible to find a regulator with CGA540 that'll work with the scuba gear and i'll have to look elsewhere.

I'm off to Tenerife tomorrownight and I'm pretty scared for the flight. When I drove to the south of France this summer I definitely felt the elevation while driving through the pre-Alpes. What was your experience during that trip? I'm going to take Imitrex and caffeïne-gum on board. I hope it'll keep me on my feet for the entire flight in case the bunny shows up.

While reading trough the forum, a lot of us whil definitely notice there's a normal behaviour of the cycles for most of us. eg.: cycles tend to come x times per year, typicaly in the months a & b. they also usually last for ±x weeks. But what is normal and what is not? A lot of times I have read 'being afraid I'm going chronic' , and that's probably (and even litteraly) everyone's worst nightmare. I think it would be useful for me and other newbies to have some kind of overview of 'the common cycle' Maybe even try to make a chart out of it, that can guide us to what we might be expecting. But perhaps even more useful to help people not to panic when sh*t hit the fan. → What is usual to us and what happened that was not. - Length of cycles - Cycles/Year or time between cycles → Did we draw any conclusions out of the anormallities or was it a one of? → Whatever useful information you want to share For those of you who don't know me yet, I'm only going trough my 2nd cycle and they didn't even resemble eachother in the slightest. Unfortunately I still don't know when this will finally end, or when to expect cycle nr 3, but here's what I can share for now. The first: - Oct 2014 - 3 attacks - Never even had the chance to realise f*ing wrong it was. just had a useless MRI and that was it. The second: - Mar 2024 - 10 Years later - Multiple attacks, day and night, was on the verge of breaking down when the ONB saved me - Busted it to the level of it still being bearable at this moment - Going into Week 16, Day 107 - Got diagnosed very fast, but now this thing seems to be never ending

Funny you mention this, The last weeks, I'm getting the impression that beer is def never helping with the shadows. Being member of a whiskyclub and owner of 3 small cabinets full of Scotlands finest, I might be biased to say this. Whisky does seem to help for me. after a few double ones the shadows seem to stop (lucky me, but my poor wallet). I have to admit, it's better not to think about it too much, or my collection could get killed very soon
