I'm assuming you mean symptoms, diagnostic differences and presentation.

While many symptoms are similar, the typical location of pain origin differs.  TN pain is often brought on by many or any facial movements and lacks the usual cyclical pattern of CH.

Individual attacks of TN are usually short, but can occur in groups that last for hours.
