Hello,

How do we determine proper flow of oxygen if the regulator does not list LPM?

The CB forum recommended a purchase the O2ptimask and Olsen Oxygen pressure regulator with barbed fitting. I bought both of these devices but the regulator does not display LPM.

With that regulator the user just sets to flow rate to match their O2 consumption. Set the flow where you aren't waiting for the reservoir bag to fill, but not to the point the bag stays full and tight all the time. It'll take a little fine tuning but once you match your breathing technique you won't have to worry with it much.

Great, thanks! I was really stressing about that.

There was a blog from 3 years ago I read on here and it mentioned that a lot of people, who struggle with getting O2 prescribed, substitute welders O2 since it works the same.

Any concerns with welders O2? Is this still common practice?
