Lizzie Hall Posted September 10, 2021 Posted September 10, 2021 I have been in remission for at least 9 years by using the mushroom cure. People said back that when someone finds help; they don't go on these forums anymore. It took me 3 times; so don't give up. You don't take enough to trip, just a little bit relaxed. Quote

Dave Horton Posted October 19, 2022 Posted October 19, 2022 Is there a certain strain that works better than others? Quote
eileenbunny Posted November 28, 2022 Posted November 28, 2022 For most people, mushrooms are not a cure. They are a treatment. We don't know as much about them for migraine as we do for cluster. There has not been a strain that has been identified to be better than others. Find one where you understand dosing and try following the busting protocol to see if it works. You can always adjust. 1 Quote
Serenity Posted February 22, 2023 Posted February 22, 2023 Hi @Lizzie Hall I'm currently microdosing MM, and it's working like a charm on many levels, except the migraines. That's why I'm thinking about going all in, but it's hard to find others that tried this, too (a lot of stories about CH, but not migraines). So, I was very glad to read your post, and I would like to ask you about how you did it: How much? How often? Did you have slapbacks? Did you take triptans before/after? Every information I can get is highly appreciated <3 Quote
Kevin Kelly Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I too am looking for more information on the "mushroom cure" as you call it or treatment as someone else mentioned. I have tried posting and asking for general information, but so far only one person has responded to me. I have had migraines since 2001 due initially to a spinal fluid leak. I don't have cluster headaches, and my leaks have been sealed at Duke University Hospital in NC, but I'm still suffering, possibly due to a pain cycle that I've been in for so long. My brain just thinks I'm not safe, so it continues to send pain signals to my nervous system. Have seen many of the best neurologists on the east coast and tried many medications but never mushrooms. Would really appreciate any basic information from someone with migraines who has tried mushrooms and received a benefit. I'm reading some of the other posts trying to glean information and create a plan of action, but as a newbie, it's difficult to figure out where to start. How did you all get started? Do I just have to read more and teach myself? Would really appreciate some input or guidance. This forum was suggested to me by my neurologist who felt that mushrooms might help me, so I'm determined to try them. Just not sure how to go about it yet. Thanks in advance Quote
