Lingering Burning Feeling

Hi,

I am so glad I came across this site.  I no longer feel like no one understands my pain.   I started suffering from CH when I was 24.  I got often attacks until I was 36.  I had 4 years remission from age of 36 to 40.  I had another 10 year remission and got it again at 50 which was two weeks ago.

Oxygen,  Prednisone and Verapamil work for me in controlling the severe pain, however I almost always have lingering burning feeling on back of my neck and on my face.   Has anyone experienced this and if so how they get rid of it?  Any medication helps?  Does Oxygen help to get rid of this feeling?

Actually been wondering about the same thing. nothing seems to take it. but this treatment has been the most efficient, takes it down to something you just can ignore.

And today, day two after my last re dose, there`s nothing!!! ;D

Verapamil, prednisonol and the other stuff doesn`t take my hits. So, this has been the first thing that not only first made the hits very weak, but now takes it all away!!!

Amazing!!!!

Hello Fred,

Most of the sufferers on this forum have turned there backs on conventional treatments. Pred, & Verap are a few of many drugs which Doctors offer to CH'ers. There is an opinion by many (myself included) that Verapamil can turn one Chronic.

Consider the other options this forum offers before becoming too addicted to conventional Med's.

Red Bull may help with the burning feeling you are experiencing. Oxygen is a good form of attack.

Nice to meet you Fred.

CArl...
