ThatHurtsMyHead
These devices have been around for quite some time. If I recall correctly it was originaly developed in Russia many years ago. I've tried a unit similar to this one, didn't work even a little bit. http://www.electronichealing.org/products/electronic_pain_reliever.htm PFW, Jeff
MoxieGirl
That's a TENS unit. They seem to be different from this new toy they are describing. I know quite a bit about TENS units, and Violet Wands, neither will do what they are describing. TENS units reach to the muscle, Violet Wands run along the surface of the skin. They are talking about hitting the nerves in the neck.
diamondmaker
There is this link on a CH.com post just up today, looks like the same thing. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-2190266/Gadget-zap-agony-migraine.html Dr. Goadsby was talking about a handheld stimulator being developed to excite a specific nerve?... an attempt to provide a convenient non-invasive approach to DBS type treatment. This may or may not be it, good question for him at the conference.
