CH-HELL
Well I have been researching BOL and found it has been around since the 1950's. Also found BOL has been sold by RX under the name Sansert. My question is are these facts and I am sure Sansert is still sold should we be trying to get Sansert? Thanks, Phil
tommyd
While sansert (methysergide) has similarities to LSD, it has no bromine, according to my old Merck Index. Edited to add: I looked up Bromo LSD in the Merck, and damned if it isn't in there. It shows a reference to: Troxler, Hofmann, Hedv. Chim. Acta 40, 2160 (1957). So yeah, apparently Dr. Hofmann and a colleague wrote it up in 1957.
CH-HELL
Thanks tommy, I was shocked that it has been around that long. Also try looking up Deseril it is another name for Sansert. Phil
Psiloscribe
Well I have been researching BOL and found it has been around since the 1950's. Phil Yep, it's been sitting around gathering dust since the 50s just like LSD, and for the same reasons for the most part. There is some question as to whether we can get it manufactured in the States without going through everything we have to go through for LSD. The reason being that to make BOL, you must first make LSD, which as we all know, is not legal to do. Hoops Hoops hoops....Where's Michael Jordan when ya need 'em. If you check out the 2-Bromo thread in this section, you'll find the info on Sansert vs. Bromo Bob

Psiloscribe
I took Sansert circa 1990's. Very expensive then (I was uninsured at the time) Can you explain the differences in these substances? Layman terms please. They are similar like grape juice and wine. Sansert is taken every day for 6 months and then taking a break, and can lead to some serious side effects. Bromo-lsd is being tested as a treatment used three times, and done. Sort of like driving non-stop, every day for 6 months, without a seatbelt vs. driving 3 times with a seatbelt each time. growler
Sansert/Desiril is a drug that certainly did not agree with me. 1 pill completely spun me out, I sat on a chair shaking for hours, then tipped the rest of the bottle down the crapper.
