Can you take Tylenol or Advil for slapbacks?  Busted with seeds last night - this morning one-sided headache, doesn't feel like a cluster.  Is Tyelonol ok?

Tyelonol may help a little, some chew on ginger candy, drink 5hr energy drinks, have strong coffee. I sometimes will get some relief by taking a benadryl. Best of luck to you and your son.

I take 1000mg of paracetamol and 400mg of ibuprofen to take the edge off shadows... not sure if it works or not. As FunTimes says, a strong cup of coffee does well.

Mum', I'm a little confused here. The comments from FunTimes and HazBaz relate to treating "shadows," which might be what you are describing. But slapbacks (in your subject line) are forms of CH attacks (which you say these might not be).  The advice you have related to treating shadows is right on, but those things won't help with an actual slapback.  If your question is whether it's okay with regard to busting to take Tylenol or Advil, the answer is that they won't interfere with busting.  I know this is late -- I hope he's feeling better!!!!
