Although it's sad for you not to be able to meet in person, you can't imagine how great virtual conference is for someone 7000 km away who has been following all the bits and pieces possible from previous conferences ! Thank you for setting this up !

I'll keep posting our awesome speakers and their presentation topics in this thread.

There have been so many recent studies on cluster headache. Dr. Emmanuelle Schindler will be giving study updates at the 2020 conference. She is a board-certified Neurologist at Yale School of Medicine and has expertise in headache medicine.

Dr. Robert E. Shapiro will be giving an advocacy and oxygen workshop. He is a Professor of Neurological Sciences at the Larner College of Medicine at the University of Vermont, where he is Director of the Division of Headache Medicine and the UCNS Headache Fellowship. He is the Founding President of the Alliance for Headache Disorders Advocacy, the Past President of the Headache Cooperative of New England and serves on the Board of Directors of the American Headache Society®.

2020 speaker list includes a veteran to the cluster community Bill Mingus! He has been active in the online community and was a member of OUCH USA for many years. Considered by many as an expert on the use of oxygen in the management of cluster headache, Bill will share on “Oxygen - Making It Work For You. A Hands On Demonstration and Discussion.”

Also speaking at the conference will be Jonathan Leighton, PhD. He is is the Executive Director of the Organisation for the Prevention of Intense Suffering, a Swiss think-and-do tank he founded in 2016. OPIS engages in education, advocacy and communication on preventing the suffering of all sentient beings and the promotion of ethical governance.
