  1. wow, thanks for pointing out this study. this could be huge for us Biological Mechanisms Implicated The study points to several pathways: Oxidative Stress Impaired antioxidant defenses (5-oxoproline) May damage brain cells Mitochondrial Dysfunction Energy production problems (orotate, 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutarate) Brain can't generate enough energy Neurotransmitter Imbalance Dopamine and glutamate pathway disruptions Lipid Metabolism & Inflammation Membrane signaling problems Inflammatory responses Methylation Pathways Betaine involvement suggests epigenetic mechanis Clinical Implications Potential Future Applications: Biomarker Development Could identify people at risk (though CSF collection is impractical) Need to find blood-based correlates New Treatment Targets Antioxidant therapies Mitochondrial support supplements Methylation pathway modulators Mechanistic Understanding Helps explain why cluster headaches occur Could lead to more targeted therapies
  2. to add to the great post and info. sometimes the d3 protocol doesn't fully eliminate the hits but it shortens the duration and intensity. have you noticed any of the 2 happening?
  3. i get the thought behind this and commend you for your efforts with taking over the reigns with the vitamin d3 protocol and education about it. But this AI slop is garbage and unwatchable, imho.
  4. i had the same experience. haven't touched that stuff in 15 years.
  5. can't say i fit that bill hrv is on average 65-70ms and my rhr is 40-45 bpm. also hrv and rhr varies greatly from person to person, so not sure how this can serve as a paramterer for comparison
  6. cannabis has dilative effects, nomatter the strain (sativa, indica, hybrid). it has never helped me get rid of any headache, ever.
  7. hey man, that's some rough stuff you have gone through in your life. you still came out on the other end so you know you're strong as hell, so don't give up hope for the better future. as others have suggested i would go to a psychiatrist and get checked out/tested, just to make sure. meanwhile i strongly suggest you don't touch any psychedelics, they could make things a lot worse. wishing you all the best and stay strong!
  8. Scientists Flip Two Atoms in LSD – And Unlock a Game-Changing Mental Health Treatment praying that this doesn't share the same fate like BOL-148 did, which has super promising results for ch but is not being really pushed forward.
  9. in the same boat. had some weird single hits a month ago. brushed them off although i kind of suspected i'm going to have an episode again. busted a couple of days ago but as it seems it didn't do the trick. got hit with 4 nasty hits at night this thursday. i think daylight saving time is what gave the last push. upping my vitd3 as we speak and hoping it will work. stay strong!
  10. Increased levels of inflammatory markers in Cluster Headache When analyzing inflammatory markers in blood and cerebrospinal fluid, researchers at Karolinska Institutet found signs of inflammation in tissue from patients with cluster headache, specifically in the samples from the nervous system. The study was recently published in The Journal of Headache and Pain. correlats with what @xxx has been saying for years. another step in the right direction.

  11. Are you sure it wasn't nitrogylcerin? you are totally right, it was nitroglycerin
  12. had a cycle start after getting a tooth fixed. can confirm
  13. many moons ago when i was in the hospital for ch diagnosis, during an active cycle, the doc used nitrous oxide to trigger a hit. took less than 5 minutes for a full blown kip 8 attack. alas the test was positive...
  14. had something similar done by my neuro a mix of lidocaine and a corticosteroid in the back of the head (occipital area), deep with a long needle. felt as if it was injected in the center of my head so to speak, i could hear the liquid being pushed into my brain, was a weird sensation. didn't kill the hits but made them a bit more bearable. the back of my head was numb for over 2 weeks, felt kinda funny.
