CGA540 Oxygen Regulator that works with O2ptimask

Does anyone have a link to somewhere that I can buy a regulator that puts out at least 15 lpm, has a CGA540 connector, and a fitting to connect to the O2ptimask? None of the ones I've looked at give the rate in lpm.

brent, i'm just guessing here, and i don't know what a cga540 connector is, but i think flotec is noted for sophisticated equipment, and they do list some high-flow meters:  http://www.floteco2.com/

A CGA540 connector is the type that connects to welding oxygen tanks. It seems like a lot of people use welding tanks, but I haven't gotten anyone to share where they got their regulator from. Lifegas looks like they have what I'm looking for, but it's a bummer I can't order from the website. Gonna have to call during business hours... what is this, the mid 90s?

as i recall from some discussions, it doesn't have an lpm meter, but i'm pretty sure it permits a flow of at least 15 lpm -- it's just that (again--as i understand it) you have to set the flow rate by seeing what fills up the bag fast enough, rather than by a numerical setting on the regulator.

CGA-540. Also called "nut and nipple" connector. It is used on most of the larger models of tanks, and not just welding tanks.

I got mine from Flotech. IF you are familiar with the other BB there's a fellow over there named Batch that hooked me up. My regulator isn't just any over the counter one, He supplied me with all of the part numbers and such for the custom build. I think it was about $125 after shipping. This regulator goes from 7lpm up to 60lpm. It also hass a fitting for the use of a demand valve system if I ever decide to upgrade. I love this thing.

I would give Flotech a shot ifI were you. The one I have is even MRI safe, not that I'd need that, but it makes it seem a little nicer with that engraved on it.

I think I may have the same regulator as Perediablo discribed. It is a Flotec and is wonderful.  I have my non-rebreather mask and my demand value hooked to it. Mine however goes from 1 lpm to 60 lpm.  Only disadvantage I would say is will only hook to the M Tanks (or I guess welding tanks).  It will not hook to the E-Tanks.  I do believe Flotec makes one that goes to 50 lpm that will hook to an E Tank.  In retrospect I kinda wished I had gotten that one so I could use on either the E-Tanks or the M-Tanks because I normally only use 40 lpm. In any event I absolutely love it especially the higher flow rate.  On a very low kip hit (< 5) I can abort in about 3 minutes at the 40 lpm.

What CHfather sez is correct. This regulator is the "cheapo" version and only costs about $30. If the cost wasn't the most important thing at the time, we would have gotten a demand valve.
