spiny Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 Welcome getrdone! I am not a diver, but we have one or two on the board. From my reading, many avoid diving when in cycle. Going down (increase in barometric pressure) is fine, but returning to the surface may not be so fine. I am sure that I have read where some continue to dive. Quote
Jacqui Posted March 20, 2017 Posted March 20, 2017 I am a scuba diver. Fortunately I have not had a cluster cycle yet that coincided with a diving trip. I'm episodic and diving also didn't trigger me into a cycle. Quote
getrdone Posted March 20, 2017 Author Posted March 20, 2017 thanks for the tip, I thing I could try a shallow dive for the pressure , as it is a trigger I have found thanks Bill Quote
ThatHurtsMyHead Posted March 21, 2017 Posted March 21, 2017 Active diver here. Ask away any questions. Spiny is correct (for me anyway). When in cycle there's NO diving for me. Going down is fine, but guaranteed an attack when I break the surface. When out of cycle, 100% OK. J Quote
jimmys Posted March 30, 2017 Posted March 30, 2017 got hit once at 35 ft. was beginning of summer cycle. One atmosphere is not much but what it told me was you will get hit underwater. never when not in cycle though. Quote
