  2. Thanks for the welcome! I’ll give that post a read. Looks like it’ll answer a lot of what I’ve been wondering about. I’m sure I’ll have some questions once I dive in!
  3. Hi Friends. I hope you all are managing and coping well. Just a quick one, I wanted to add Glutathione, with the D3 Regimen to help/aid with the repair of the muscle surrounding both my hip replacements since I'm due for my second set of hip replacement surgery cos it's been over 15 years now. I'm 45 at the moment, so if I need to have them done again, now is the right time. Dont want to reach my 70s and then it will be too risky. However, if I can use alternatives like Glutathione to repair the muscles mainly cos my current ceramic joints are still in tact and functioning properly. Well... My left one is squeaking if I squat ( was thinking of using WD40.... Lol kidding) , but he ortho took x-rays and Said that it still looks in good shape. I do experience pain from time to time and I walk with a cane to assist me. Is this ok to Take glutathione or will it interfere with the Ch and the regimen? Thanks and well wishes always. Snowflake

  5. Hi, welcome! It's a good place to be! I wish you well on your warrior journey.
  6. Welcome, eric'. You might find this post helpful for an overview of things related to CH. Basic non-busting information - ClusterBuster Files - ClusterBusters At the end of the post there is core information about "busting," which is the reason this site was created. Of course, nothing beats interaction and direct answers to your specific questions, but that post might have some useful information in it.
  7. Hi everyone, I’m new here and just wanted to say how grateful I am to have found this forum. Like so many of you, I’ve been navigating the challenges of cluster headaches and all the confusion, frustration, and pain that comes with them. I’ve tried a few things, some that helped a little, some that didn’t—but I know I have a lot to learn. More than anything, I’m here to connect with others who get it. Sometimes it’s just good to know you’re not alone in this fight. Looking forward to reading through your stories, learning from your experiences, and hopefully finding some new ideas or inspiration along the way. Wishing relief and strength to everyone out there.
  8. I would agree, across all media it seems that gets the least coverage. This is another option I want to get into my toolbox.
  9. That is a very nice article!!!!!! My only wish, small in the context of how good the article is, is that RC seeds could get a mention in these kinds of stories. A discussion of them being generally legal to purchase and possess, highly effective, and generally tripless, would be very valuable for those folks who think MM would be too much for them, or too risky for them.

  11. Gonna be my go to snack when busting know!!!!!!
  12. I can make the world alot bigger if you want me to @CHfather
  13. Made the ugly yellow spiders in my bad dream seem cute!!
  14. Especially going by @BoscoPiko's reaction, not willing to put my money where my mouth is and even give that a single viewing.
  15. Ok now that was horrifying!

  17. So strange to wake up and read this after having bad dreams all night about being in a house infested with big ugly yellow spiders (by product of all the time I've spent in the greenhouse latley i think). In my dream I was trying to vacuum them up, in hindsight I guess I should have been getting my snack on....
  18. I'm with you bej, spiders for breakfast dinner and tea from know on!!!!!!
  19. I guess I've just personally been clueless and totally missing out - gonna head straight to the garage and rummage behind boxes and stuff in hopes of making up for lost time.
  20. Wait . . . You mean everyone doesn't already do that?
  21. Whoa, newly armed with this info, clearly we all need to get snacking on spiders, stat. Any encounter with a house spider should now be considered a welcome opportunity to consume a nutritious CH relieving morsel!
  22. This is unrelated, except that taurine is involved. I post it here only because I just read it tonight, and thought it was fascinating, and taurine gives me the excuse. From What It's Like to be a Bird (great book!): "Chickadees mostly bring caterpillars to their newly hatched nestlings (they can collect over a thousand in a day), but for the first week or so after hatching the adults make special efforts to seek out spiders to feed their young. Spiders provide the nutrient taurine, which is essential for brain development and other functions."

  24. ...personal experience for me was 1500 mg taurine minimum to be effective (as energy drink ingredient...never tried as a supplement) best jon
  25. Here's someone talking about a dose of 2000mg taurine to abort attacks. Taurine to stop onset of Cluster Headache - General Board - ClusterBusters It's hard to tell how much taurine is in a 5-Hour Energy shot, but one place lists it as roughly 480mg. An 8-ounce Red Bull is said to have 1000mg of taurine. This is another discussion of taurine: Taurine Supplements - General Board - ClusterBusters If you put taurine into the search bar at the top right of any page, you'll see quite a few entries, of which some might be helpful, although most don't mention specific dosages.
  26. Hello fellow CHers. Just laying in bed after a sleepless night scouring the threads here for any new info to help with my most current attack. The shadows have been intense lately, and I've yet to try Taurine. I tried finding the recommended dosage to take, but no luck. Any recommendations? It seems the standard mg that I can purchase online is 1000mg. Does that sound about right? Also, has anyone noticed any side effects with taking it? I can be sensitive to lots of caffeine, and I believe this ingredient is found in energy drinks, so I want to be careful. Any insight is appreciated. Here's to more pain free days. Much love to all of you. Elder Emo
