  1. This is a completely different type of treatment and it's difficult for me not to see it in a completely different light. Almost every CH medicine that has been effective for most patients - save oxygen - has been hazardous to human health. The careful use of psychedelics has been shown to have a 70-80% success rate and (I hope I don't get beat up for saying this) they're as physically innocuous as oxygen. Sorry, but I just can't seem to get oxygen, lithium, shrooms and Imitrex all in the same bucket.
  2. I love so much spicy kitchen too, Matty.
  3. Denny, Denny, Denny, Never met one with an hispanic heritage, huh? How 'bout me and the Bonkers? We're both Mex. Not full-bean, however. I'm 1/2. Michael's also half 'cause I married a half-Mex woman. My dad was full-bean and so was hers. I'm now absolutely positive that it's being a half-breed or multi-breed human that causes CH. Oops, I think that's all of us. Ron p.s. - A wise man once told me that we're all part of the same asshole society. He said nose-hole but the implication was asshole.
  4. Only the most attractive and intelligent people are capable of getting CH. God's truth.
  5. What Bob said! Mike and I are in full agreement. I also heard that Alt folks are better lovers. Btw, Mike got $2,500 - that we didn't have! - worth of shots into his forehead and It did absolutely nothing! Nothing!
  6. Hi AO, CH.com does a lot of good. Many who luck onto it for the first time have never even heard of using oxygen! I'm on the alt bandwagon though and have tired from having to apologize every time I post and from spending a lot of time writing what I think to be a thoughtful post and having no one respond to it. So most of my energy is now devoted to this site too. Prejudice against street drugs runs pretty deep. The folks at CH.com seem to generally be of a conservative bent regarding them and most aren't going to be too open to the idea of using them even if they knew that they were the only things that would get rid of their headaches. I've had people tell me that straight out! The best you can do is to be open and loving. Folks will come around when they're ready. Ron
  7. I've got my people looking over the various offers. The poster boy angle just isn't going to work, though. That would be obvious to anyone who's seen me. My choice to play me in the movies/documentaries that are sure to come out is Mr. Handsome, Dallas Denny. In fact, I nominate Denny to be and do everything that involves me doing anything! You go, Boy!
  8. Wish I could say I feel your pain, but I can't. I'm just very sorry. I hope you'll get a good night's rest tonight. F...ing headaches!
  9. Thank you for asking, Matty. Michael's doing great! I think we may have turned a corner this time. He took less (3.75g) but still felt psychedelic effects. For the 1st time didn't wake HA free. Woke crying from the pain of the worst HA since starting with alts. It didn't abate for 3 days. But when it did on Tues., he said it felt like the HA was "more gone." More gone than past times when he said it was "completely" gone. I don't get it either. Kinda I get it. His experience with the shrooms has become boringly routine: dose, next day HA free, free for 3-4 days, a day of shadows and then they return. This time it's more like you guys. This is the 5th day HA free. We'll see.
  10. Matty, Dude It's gonna take a lot more than hoping, I'm afraid. I'm the laziest man on the planet and can never be depended on to more than just carry my own weight. Still, I'll help, but just. I don't know what the answer is. I don't even know in what direction the answer is. I think we need recognition and backing and ideas. But it'll happen. It's the right thing to do and the right thing to happen. I don't know on who's timetable but it'll happen. I think maybe they're not all as sinister as we expect them to be. I bet some of them will even end up helping us. We don't want to make money from this procedure. And it can't cost them that much in revenue if they let us. We just want to be able to legally do it and maybe be able to supply others for free so that they can do it and only for this one specific treatment. I'm pretty sure about this one. Ron p.s. - You're probably right, but still...
  11. Hi Bejeeber, It's important that you start your garden as soon as possible. You're looking at 2 months b4 you get any fruit. And that's if everything goes right. You have to learn about sterile procedures. You have to build a couple of things. And you have to learn about and become an amateur/recreational mycologist. Unless you're like Denny, and can do anything, you'll have problems and contaminations and shit'll happen which'll further delay your fruit. Join the Mycotopia forum (http://forums.mycotopia.net/fungi-growing-edible-medicinal-magic-mushrooms/) and read all you can. You can ask questions here as well as there. I'm very glad to see you here. Ron
  12. Hey yourself, Bejeeber. And welcome. Glad you got here before the storm hit. Time to check your PM's yet again. Ron
  13. When we get the numbers on our side - and we're getting there - they'll have to listen to us. If enough of the right people see enough of us (I mean you, though I'm honored to represent you) both CH and prescription-free, the medical community, the pharmaceutical community and the legal community will start paying attention. It's just a matter of time - we know it works!
  14. Hi x6th, Welcome. Liked what I saw of your art. Looking forward to your input. My name's Ron. My son (Bonkers) is Michael. He's the one with the headaches.
  15. Somehow missed this thread. Been laughing for 20 minutes. Birdman, my kid's a big guy. He's lost friends that didn't duck. I was with him once when one of them told him that "It can't be THAT bad." Mike's face got all red and that big vein in the middle of his forehead popped out. I just stepped between them and changed the conversation. Recently, since the shrooms have been so effective, I tell people I'm growing magic mushrooms in every available container all over the house; to please come up and have some with us - we both take them all the time, they're REALLY FUN!! Folks just walk away. Next time it'll be tingeling's way: "No, he's never tried anything for them, why do you ask?"
  16. Anything less than 2.5g and Michael not only doesn't get any psychedelic effects, he doesn't lose the headache. Everybody's different.

    Oxygen

Hi Kathie, There's a lot of info on the sister site to this one, http://www.clusterheadaches.com/wwwboard2/index.html, that you would be well-advised to familiarize yourself with. Here, the emphasis is on the use of natural (mostly), alternative medications that may allow you to "bust" the cycle of your headaches and perhaps eliminate them entirely. Not all of these substances are legal - in fact, most aren't - but many have found that they provide, for the 1st time in their lives, lasting relief from what many call the "monster" which has taken over their lives. Stick around. We'll join the battle with you. Ron
  18. This is great! It's like it's my birthday all the time. How cool is that? Thanks. I await your presents. I'll REALLY be grateful for those. I love presents. Wheee!... Wheee!... Wheee!...

Gotcha. I see myself in your picture, banging my head and saying "duh!"
  20. Thank you, Bob, for being there and for so selflessly doing all of this for all of us. God bless you.
  21. Tyvek is used for envelopes, hazmat suits and as an extremely good filter medium for recreational mycologists. It is used in jar lids for pressure cooking and to cover holes to allow air exchange but not contams. I don't know how effective they are, but some use an aquarium air pump and plastic tubing to bubble air into a closed plastic container 3/4-full of water with other tube(s) exhausting humid air above the water in the container to the growing chamber to raise relative humidity. There's lots of info about these and many other hobbyist helpers on http://forums.mycotopia.net/fungi-growing-edible-medicinal-magic-mushrooms/ and http://www.shroomery.org/4/Grow-Mushrooms. You're very welcome.
  22. When the cap begins to open up, a veil forms underneath which covers the mushroom's gills. The time to pick is just as the veil begins to break exposing the gills.
  23. Hi Donnie, Nature isn't "exact" and they seem to do fine out there. I'm no expert but I'm beginning to understand that mushroom cultivation for our needs isn't rocket science. Most of us just try to keep the incubation chamber dark, dry, warm and as close to 86 as we can with the control on the heating pad or the aquarium heater. It's more important not to get too warm than it is not to get too cold. Too cold and colonization slows down. Too hot (above 90) and mycelia start to die. Light, normal room temperature and high humidity are needed in the fruiting chamber. Air conditioning if it gets above 80 or a wet towel and a fan if it's unavailable are the least expensive and/or low-tech cooling methods. Vermiculite and bubblers of various kinds for humidity, holes at vermiculite(ground) level covered with Tyvek or filled with poly-fill for air exchange and you're good to go. Good luck, Ron
