Minnie Mints
Does anyone know if you can go to a Native American reservation for psilocybin-based headache treatment legally? I know that various tribes have used mushrooms for years in shaman/healing/religious ceremonies. I would hope that maybe some tribal nations have that kind of treatment available as legal and might even be willing to help an outsider with it. I considered growing my own mushrooms, but chickened out. I live in a state that's totally Nazi about pot, shrooms, and numerous other drugs. You can go away for a long time for a single joint. If you "manufacture" a substance (in other words if you grow a plant or fungus they don't like), you can really be in deep trouble. I'm just not willing to take the risk. I'm considering moving to a state that's not so goose-stepping fascist about drugs, but even then there are only states where pot is legal; there are no psilocybin-legal states. But if the tribal nations truly have their own sovereignty, maybe that's the way to go. Maybe I could pay them a visit and ask for help. If a tribe would help me, I would be willing to financially support them for the rest of my life. I would be so grateful. What about Canada? I'm not far from there. I had heard that it's possible for a doctor with a license there to administer psilocybin treatment. That could also be worth it to me if it meant I could get this treatment legally. shocked
Dr. John Halpern has done some work in this field - Native American Church (NAC) Psychological and Cognitive Effects of Long-Term Peyote Use Among Native Americans http://nierika.info/castellano/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Halpern-Effects-of-long-term-peyote-use.pdf To our knowledge, only one large population in the United States offers this opportunity: the 300,000 Native Americans who regularly (and legally) (American Indian Religious Freedom Act Amendments of 1994) ingest the peyote cactus (Lophophora williamsii), which contains the hallucinogen mescaline ( -3,4,5-trimethoxyphenethylamine), as a religious sacrament during all-night prayer ceremonies in the Native American Church (NAC) MAPS interview John - http://www.maps.org/news-letters/v11n2/11210moj.pdf For more information visit the link – “Native American Church” in this paper – Peyote Use by Native Americans http://news.healingwell.com/?p=news1&id=528941 shocked

There are some clinical trials for treating other conditions with hallucinogens, but those are not available to the general person/public, FG
ThatHurtsMyHead
Minnie Mints, Spirit Walk is what you're looking for http://www.peyoteway.org/spiritwalk.php The Peyote Church Of God Though I don't know how much information is available on how effective Mescaline (the chemical in Peyote) is on helping our CH. Ricardo
There may be other ways around this. There are quite a few mescaline containing cactus's that are legally available to buy. http://compare.ebay.com/like/161095593732?var=lv<yp=AllFixedPriceItemTypes&var=sbar http://www.ebay.com/bhp/san-pedro-cactus Another one of those "Legal to own and have, illegal to eat" kinda things, much like our LSA containing seeds. -Ricardo
CHfather
Or . . . head for the Bomba Shack: http://www.clusterheadaches.com/cb/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1297450426/22  (I suppose that if they're legally serving shroom drinks, maybe shrooms are legal in the British Virgin Islands in general?) Hey Minnie, what else are you doing for CH? Tried the D3 approach? Got oxygen? Also, as Ricardo suggests, you have very close to a zero percent chance of getting in trouble with LSA. As I remember it, Louisiana is the only state where it's illegal to possess rivea corymbosa seeds. ClusterHeadSurvivor
I am Canadian. In Ontario to be exact and I am from BC. In Ontario you can get marijuana prescribed to you if you have Glucauma(prob spelt wrong) or MS and then it will come in a form of pill etc. I have even discussed BOL 145 with my nuerosurgeon and doctor. At present there is NO LEGAL shrooms, pscylio or anything legal. In Vancouver you can go to pot cafe and not be harassed. Posession in BC for pot is miniscule. DOnt care. Even in Ontario being caught with a joint will only get you a fine and not arrested. They will take the joint and fine you. Its when you have over 5 grams it becomes possesion for the purpose of trafficking. LSD is not permitted anywhere in Canada to my knowledge... and I went to Police College in 2001. Unless things have changed....Dont move north looking for it legally. Also have a fat chance finding a new doctor here. Waiting list is 2 yrs long...walk in clinics take you but do not prescribe narcotics. Hope you find relief.
