  1. Hi Jeffrey, I am not too terribly far away from you, and I make it to Detroit very often (Tigers games). If you need anything, feel free to p.m. me and I'll do all that I can. Best regards, steve
  2. I hope and pray it's not going to happen to me. I don't think I could handle it. I've had some weird stuff going on the past couple of days and I'm a little scared.
  3. Is there anyone who posts here that have had CH switch sides of the head? Is there any notice, or does it just happen?
  4. haha, yeah you can expect some strange looks from people when you go looking for high flow regulators. People just don't know/understand. What kind of tank do you have? I normally have some extra 25lpm regulators for "D" and "E" tanks but I am fresh out at the moment. I did just see some new ones listed for $25 though ... thats about $5 cheaper than I normally find them. The o2ptimask will most definitely help, but it never hurts to have a 25lpm reg. just in case.
  5. 66 years ago today a black man walked onto the field as a Brooklyn Dodger and changed the world. Thank you Jackie.
  6. Yup. I'll second that notion. Here in Northwest Ohio we have been all over the place weather-wise over the past couple of weeks and it's been taking it's toll (as usual this time of year). 70° and sunny one day, 43° and raining the next. I wish mother nature would get her poop in a group.
  7. The Braves are just unstoppable right now. 8-1 to start off the season? wow.
  8. HAHA, all the way where? To the edge of the cliff? All the way to the cellar of the division? Hopefully they will have a winning season in the near future though ..... I can see that happening!!
  9. Can they keep this up?? WOW, big surprise in opening week for sure. I've been known to drop a few dollars on a "daily fantasy" site and I picked Will Middlebrooks for my team the other day. 3 homers, a double, 3 runs scored, and 6 million rbi's. He had more fantasy points than some complete teams that day!! Needless to say I won a few bucks off of him
  10. As of right now, I'll be there to see them play the Nationals on Aug. 2-4. (Fri-Sun). I'll be going by myself, so heck yeah .... come on out!!
  11. They have had a great start! But I'm seeing the Mets take that division. I think it will be a tight race though. For the last 4 seasons I have made the trip to a "different" stadium to see a game. This summer I will be seeing Miller Park! Have you ever been there? Have any tips? Things inside the park I must see? A food I must try?
  12. Hi Dave! Well, that bet would probably make the rest of your season pretty interesting, but the Tigers will be winning it all this year I just got home from a full weekend in the "D". Saw all 3 games. Even got a final glimpse of Mariano Rivera today. Kinda bittersweet since the only way we got to see him is if the Tigers were down late in the game ..... But he is a legend nonetheless, and today was his last game at Comerica. 2 wins and a loss, and good weather too. Decent weekend. So glad to have the boys of summer back! steve
  13. You will get different opinions on this from everybody, but personally, I subscribe to the "go big or go home" theory. There is a great thread here that you should read. It goes over all the basics of preparation and storage and all the goodies: http://www.clusterheadaches.com/cb/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1290128974 But, my personal opinion is to skip the "easing your way into it" method .... especially if you have experienced mind altering substances in the past. I would go with at least 30 and judge yourself from there. Again, I'm not a doctor, and none of this is an exact science .... I just don't like the idea of taking 10 or so with no real effect and then waiting 5-7 days before trying again. But we are all different, and there is no "right" answer to your question. Best regards, and best wishes.... I hope you get some relief, steve
  14. Thank for posting. Good read. Definitely gives hope!
  15. No...... [smiley=tekst-toppie.gif] THANK YOU SIR!
  16. Hi sabiga, welcome to the site! I'm not in New York, but the company I use for o2 is nationwide. I love Apria Healthcare (some others on here have had problems with them though as far as billing and prices if you don't have insurance). Anyways, their website is located here: http://www.apria.com/wps/portal/apria/home According to their store locator (in the upper right corner of their home page) they have 18 facilities throughout the state of New York. Just find the one closest to you and give them a call. They also deliver, so you don't have to mess with running to refill tanks on your own. I hope that helps a little. Best regards and pain free wishes, steve
  17. Never a problem. And yeah that's a bummer on the seeds thing. Customer service is such a shady thing nowadays I ordered an iPad power cord off eBay on Monday LAST WEEK, and after 2 emails they just finally shipped it yesterday .... 9 days after I ordered and paid for it Makes you wonder how these places stay in business with such poor service.
  18. http://94.100.244.217/gas_devices_and_therapies/o2ptimask.asp call 1-800-247-2560 to order. Best regards, steve
  19. HIYA MOXIE! Have you heard of, considered, or tried the H2O therapy? If I remember right, it is one 8oz glass of water every 30 minutes. Your thoughts on dehydration made me think of it. I have tried it in the past with no real luck..... but that doesn't mean it can't do something for you. I'm not sure what it actually "does", but I'm sure it has something to do with the fact that water carries oxygen. I DO know that it causes many trips to the bathroom Just a thought. Hope all is well with ya!! steve
  20. WOW! Now that's a memory! I'm a bit younger than you (you kinda aged yourself with the Mays thing ) but my memory that fits into the same category was from the old Tiger stadium in 1988. We sat in the front row of the center field bleachers and at the old stadium the bleachers actually hung out over the field. Tigers v. Mariners. Lou Whitaker hit a SHOT that was coming right at me. I though for sure it was a homer, but it fell just short. I leaned out over the rail and looked down underneath my feet to see if the Mariners center fielder made the catch. He was running at the wall full speed, looked over his shoulder and made a backwards basket catch "a la Willie Mays" ... I couldn't wait for him to turn around to see the name on the back of his jersey to see who it was that just made the most amazing catch I had ever seen. It was a rookie named "Griffey Jr." HEY ... it was COLD out there I'm all geeked up for this Fri-Sat-Sun as I will be at all 3 of the Tiger's home openers against the much hated Yankees
  21. For that sufferer that doubles as an interior designer http://www.ebay.com/itm/Novelty-Oxygen-Tank-Lamp-Paramedic-Light-Fixture-/251254022198?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3a7fe82036
  22. Anything for you sir!! I just picked up a complete unit for less than $150. Took some searching, and a few days, but it sure beats the regular $300-$400 price tag. A lot of volunteer EMT people have to purchase their own equipment and that's who I have been targeting. This guy I just bought mine off of paid $398 for the entire setup (25lpm/50psi regulator, 6ft hose, demand valve, and mask). He left the volunteer department and said the hose, mask, and demand valve were never even used..... and the regulator was only used 5 or 6 times. Heck of a deal for half the price of retail! Can you shoot me a picture of the top of your big tank? or find one just like yours on the internet and give me a link? Is it an "M" tank like this one? (this is just a random picture I pulled off the internet so ignore the regulator and the A,B,C markings... I just need to know if the valve on the top of your tank has the threads like this one)
