Bonkers, That is so true.

I'm thinking that if last night was a better night, maybe ride it out for a few more. If the shadow comes back, or the clusters start in, then dose. As far as the quantity is concerned, you may have just had a stronger batch. Your next 1.5 may have no experience whatsoever, and since you didn't find it objectionable anyway, I say go for it.

Kyle and Yury 66: Just my 2 cents . . . .And a few others here shared my experience . . .The Mycobags were more hype than what they delivered. Even with no contams, the yield is small, and the process is S . . . .L . . . .O . . .W ;D The PF Tek is mucho better! -
We can't make it, but Andrew's already chomping at the bit for next year!

Common Threads of CH Sufferers

Carl, He prefers the capsules, do you think it has to be tea? And he is 6'4", 195 lbs, I'm thinking more like 2.5 gms . . . . His last dose of shrooms was about 3 weeks ago, and was 2.0 with no psychoactive effects. -
Common Threads of CH Sufferers

He went 6 hours pain free yesterday. Around 6p he had to hit his oxygen for a very short period, and that put it to rest till 9:30. Then his normal headache hit, o2 wouldn't touch it, and it was on and off till 1:30a. I finally let him take some baby aspirin, and then he slept. Small hit this am, took out with o2. High hopes for today . Thanks for all the positive vibes! -
Common Threads of CH Sufferers

He had a fairly manageable week last week. On average of 2 big ones breaking through each day. 1 during the day and 1 in the night. Otherwise aborted, or small. I came to the decision, and finally convinced him, that he had to give up what he had been using as an abortive (even though it wasn't supposed to be blocking the psychadelics) I believed that it still could be, as well as causing rebounds from chronic use. It was a hard decision for him, but after a second seed dose on Sunday (yesterday), he gave it up. The first 24 hours were tough, but by this morning, he had a long lasting constant "regular headache" that finally cleared at 1:00, and he just called me and announced that he felt AMAZING!! It's still early, but if the next 24 hours go this well, I think he'll be done with the detox rebound (for lack of a better term), and will be solely on oxygen. I think we'll wait out the next few days and see when/if/or how bad the clusters resurface, and then make a decision on his next dose. Timing/seeds vs. shrooms. I am happy to say that now I have a comfortable stock of both, so he can take his pick . I expect the oxygen to be much more effective for him once that that other medicine is out of his system. Feeling very positive. Will post in a couple of days with an update. It has been through this website, and all these wonderful people sharing their own trials and tribulations that I have learned so much. We see his headache doctor next week. Would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to have good results to share. He is very curious about this treatment. -
You mentioned a bubbler and tyvek in your fruiting chamber. Do you lay the tyvek along the bottom before putting in the perlite? And could you give me more explanation on your bubbler setup, please? Thanks Ron

Why do my shrooms keep turning gray? I read that you should harvest before they turn, but I left my crystal ball on the bus!

Thanks David, He survived his 24 hrs of post dose rebounds. First headache this am was slighter. Maybe a couple of good days to come. He needs them, he's pretty worn down. -

Thanks, Lee Ann for your kind words. It breaks mine too, every day. He is chronic, and though our busting efforts have helped somewhat, he is still nowhere near pain free. RC seeds have kept him somewhat sane while I am growing. I had a couple of unsuccessful attempts. Time lost, pain suffered--and lots of it. Most recent batch is hugely successful, so we are off to busting big-time. He hates it. Feels like a hypocrite because he was raised not to smoke, drink, do drugs, etc. But he is resigned to it as well. First dose last night, so he's rebounding pretty bad today. Higher hopes for tomorrow. Maybe one night soon, we will both sleep an entire night. Fingers crossed, hands together. -

Mother of an 18 year old cluster sufferer. He has had them since the age of 13. Never smoked, never drank, no head trauma, no drug use (till now haha). You either get em, or ya don't. Wish all of you, and him, were in that second category! -
I second that! Hope your Birthday is filled with good things. And the best gift you could get is for Michael to be PF! That I pray for more than anything for you, my friend.

I tear up over some little thing every time I am on this message board. This time I cried. My sympathy and prayers to Will's family.

My son started out chronic, and remains there after 5 years. He is now 18 years old. When he gets hit, he wants to be dead, says he can't do it anymore. Happily, that sentiment passes when it's over. He has learned, somehow, to get up every morning, and suck every little bit of pleasure out of life that he can when he is in between hits. Every single aspect of what you are experiencing, is shared or has been shared by everyone here. Out in the "real world" we (and I classify me as one of the we even though I don't feel the pain you feel in my head, I feel it in my heart every time my baby does) feel very alone and misunderstood, because we are. Here we find support, solace, understanding and wisdom. We have been busting for about 6 months. With some ups, and many downs. Patience in the process as it is different for everyone. Rejoice in the victories, however small. Remember that you are on the right track, and will one day reach the place you so desperately seek. I am no expert by any means, but have learned a great deal in the last 5 years, and especially the last 6 months. If your doctor won't give you what you need, find another one. You can get your own regulator without doctors permission on the internet. Sometimes you have to take your care into your own hands. I suppose that's why you are here. You're on the right track. Holler if I can help.

My son is a chronic clusterhead for the last five years now. Food sensitivity plays a role for him as well. What I learned is that when he eats foods that he is sensitive to, his body produces histamine which is a trigger for clusters. We are using benadryl, zyrtec to suppress the histamine reaction, and Omega 3 and acidophilus to improve his digestive health. This does seem to be helping. Staying away from these foods is most important, but sometimes things are hidden. Being so sensitive to so many foods does limit his choices and that is difficult for a child of 18. Here is a link to a website that helped me understand this process better: http://www.whfoods.com/genpage.php?tname=faq&dbid=30. He had a special blood panel done a few years back through immuno labs (www.immunolabs.com) that helped to pinpoint all his food sensitivities. It was very accurate. His neurologist had never heard of such a thing. Some may call this horsehockey, but after detoxing him from all prescription meds, and using the test results as a guide, we have made significant progress on our own. He still gets clusters and is benefitting from the clusterbuster treatment as well, but what we have found is that these food sensitivity headaches are in a completely different ball park, and must be handled separately from the clusters (even though they present with all the same symptoms, they do not respond to the clusterbuster treatment, or traditional cluster abortives.) I wish you well.

I wondered what you all were doing in the evening while I was driving home to Michigan!
