  2. Love the term "anger sponge". I seriously need a stash of those!! I must admit that I have often thought of CH as some sort of cruel punishment for something I did wrong.. So I suppose the thought of possession is not far from that...Maybe our minds just want so badly to believe that somehow, someway it's something other than a neurological un-curable issue. I find that I prefer the worm in the nose theory I read on here while poking around...Who knows, maybe one day a cure will be just a shot away...

  3. I sure act like I'm possessed during an attack sometimes LOL..Curse words randomly flying out of my mouth, odd leg jerks etc. However, I'm fully aware of what's going on so I would have to say no. Wish I was then it would be simple, we could all go get an exorcism and call it good;)

  4. Here's hoping whoever diagnoses you doesn't subscribe to the apparently still common (but outmoded pure B.S) notion that only males should be diagnosed with CH.

  5. The primary will probably refer you to a specialist and then the specialist will still have to listen to your words with no test to proclaim CH. Basically their diagnosis is on you....

  7. I too salute Spiny's bible dispensation above! I'll just emphasize a couple tidbits Doubly avoid alcohol - it is a HUGE trigger for so many. Holding an ice cube against roof of mouth while breathing freezing air from that blasting car air conditioner vent , until a soothing in comparison "ice cream headache" develops and CH disappears, has been an abort technique that has helped some, sometimes - if caught at onset. Lots of CHers have ditched the medical RX O2 in favor of welding O2 (which is reputedly the same stuff), available without prescription.

  8. Regarding lithium and MM, it says this in the ClusterBuster Files (in "Playing Well Together"): >>Anecdotal reports suggest that lithium can greatly potentiate the effects of LSD or mushrooms, and that it can produce very unpleasant feelings. An examination of a number of reports suggested that lithium can either increase or decrease effects. The combination of lithium and tryptamines may even produce episodes that seem like, and that perhaps are, epileptic seizures. If people are taking lithium for treating cluster headaches and it is not working, they may want to talk with their doctor about not taking it any more before trying mushrooms or LSD. If people are taking lithium for bipolar affective disorder, they probably should continue taking lithium, and they should avoid taking tryptamines for cluster headaches.<< Not everything in these older document is completely reliable, but I do believe that some others have commented over the years that this information should be kept in mind. I'm sure that Batch will comment on your primary question, about D3.

  9. There should be no interaction with mm and the lithium from a medical/ scientific perspective. It’s only SSRIs you have to worry about.
