Every January there is an extended OUCH Meet & Greet in St Louis, right off the airport in a decent but very low cost hotel. We basically take over half the bar for the duration, and the bartenders are more than happy to have such business. There are a few planned trips... going this place or that... along with dinner. There are also a shitload of casinos within a 30 minute drive if that is your thing. The primary reason it is held there is because MO is somewhat central and easy to get into, and more so that smoking indoors is still allowed in MO. (I do not smoke, but many of the attendees do). I believe Racer is going to work to get it kicked off this year. It goes an entire weekend, with some arriving Thursday and most leaving Sunday.

Will not be making it. A work conflict I cannot refuse... basically 5 days at Pebble Beach paid. Was looking forward to seeing you all. I already paid the registration fee. Feel free to reallocate that to someone deserving, or just tag is as a donation to CB. Regrets. Mayhaps some of you can make it to STL this January for the OUCH thingy... make it a combined CB/OUCH event. Just wishing.

The most luck I had with the flavor is Peppermint Tea, which supposedly could increase the effect. It might be... hard to tell. I let it steep in COLD tea (let it cool down for an hour) then stir / inhale / hold breath / chug / add a bit of water to get the remaining sludge / chug / wash mouth out with water (even a piece or two of a seed left where I can taste it bring on the heaves) / exhale. Whole process is about 20 seconds. Typically follow up with a strong citrus drink like OJ or grapefruit juice, again sloshing it around the mouth to get any last bit out.Â

So I wonder... Is the atrophy the cause of our CH? Or is the CH the cause of the atrophy? If the latter then preventing CH from occurring such as through busting takes on a new urgency. For years we thought CH was a cruel annoyance without any long term effects. This might indicate otherwise.

$10k for 6? Zounds! I suppose it is fundamentally different than LSD synthesis, where a cupful is thousands of doses. I would pay some guy in China $10k if he could synthesize a few hundred doses for us, were it not grossly illegal in some fashion.Â

With regard to the projected costs for the next trial, I am curious to know what ballpark we are talking. 4 figures? 5 figures? 6 figures? Procurement of some 2-Bromo for a 'personal trial'... is it in the realm of possibility, or simply too rare and/or controlled to think about at this stage?

Can anyone tell me about the 2-Bromo they used in the study in Hannover? One would think that might be the magic bullet with regard to legal CB-style treatment. I see the substance mentioned frequently on Google, but have no idea where it originates. Other names might be BOL, BOL-148
