Imagine my surprise when I see CH, and busting mentioned. I have the hope that someone, out there, with CH will click that link, come to the site, and learn about relief. This is what I'm thinking. On both accounts. Plus, think of how they can market it for CH. Who else can say, flat out, we've got a viable treatment that may put patients into remission? There's no other drug on the market that can say that. Oh, there are prevents... But prevents don't have the chance to end your cycle. There are abortives... but abortives don't have the change to end our cycle either. On top of that, Insurance might want to look at how much it costs to treat a CH customer through their cycle. The doctor visits. The different drugs. The ER visits. And the fact that, I dunno, they will keep more people alive with it... You can't make money off of a dead person. Just my thoughts on it. He's 6 now, about to be 7. When he was about 4 and a half, he liked watching his grandpa play Grand Theft Auto. If you've never heard of this game, it's for adults. I warned everyone this was a horrible, HORRIBLE idea. That the children should absolutely not watch this game be played... He learned about carjacking. So one day we're on our way to Galveston, and he points at a guy on a motorcycle. "See that guy on that moto? I'm going to jack him off!" "WHAT did you just say?!" "I'm going to jack him off of his moto!" "Jose, never, ever say that you're going to jack someone off, okay? ...You mean carjacking. You're going to carjack him." "Yeah! I'm going to jack him off of his moto!" We laugh. Hysterically. And continue to try to tell him he's not going to jack anyone off. Finally his Mom yells "JOSE, YOU ARE NOT GOING TO JACK ANYONE OFF. IF YOU SAY IT AGAIN I'M GOING TO SPANK YOU!" So, Marcos in the backseat, 2 and a half or 3 at this point says "Me gonna jack him off..." "MARCOS!!!" The kids were banned from watching anyone play GTA. Thank God. But last month when my fiance was here, they were playing Red Dead Redemption (A cowboy game, also for adults) and they decided to steal a guy's wagon from him. Jose: "I'm going to jack him off his wagon!" Marcos: "YEEEEAH, JACK HIM OFF!" We all burst out laughing. I told him not to go telling anyone at school that. Or anywhere's else. I don't know if it stuck or not... Mystina

I finally got SOMEONE to check my hormones. No one would freakin' do it until I was sent to an endocrinologist because they figured it was unlikely I had too low testosterone. (And with medicaid, if your doctors don't want to check you for something, you are fecked.) So, endocrine decides to re-run the test. It comes back with my testosterone as 44 which they said was a tiny bit on the high side. I was put on Spironolactone (which I've been on before) so we'll see what this does. I'll report back if it helps any. Last bust helped things immensely. I'm still having some mild hits, but they're pretty low. Mystina

I've got some fecked up stories of things my nephews have said, but some of it is just SO WRONG... I do have a funny story about little Jose, who is now about to be 6. When he was about 1 and a half, we were having a birthday party for me over at their house. I was holding him. His uncle brought in a $1 bill that another uncle gave to him. My Papa was taking pictures. Little Jose decided there was a perfect place available to shove the $1 bill into... I've actually heard of something like this. I know someone who used it to treat her terminal cancer. She never suggested it for CH or anything else though. She was a homeopath. She used the same method when the cancer came back to get rid of it again. Glad it worked for you. Mystina

I noticed on facebook, one of the other groups for another condition I have was doing it. People can raise money by watching ads, donating, or doing other things... I just figured I'd share. There's also programs out there that do "giving" to certain nonprofits at certain times. I think Vivent is one of them? There was also a Chase Community Giving thing a while back. If we can't use it, oh well. But I figured I might as well bring it up. Mystina

I've had it since I was about 12 or so. My CH didn't start until I was 23 and a half. So I'm guessing no. Mine isn't that bad either. Most believe that CH has to do with a problem in the brain, with the hypothalamus. Mystina

iF i HAD A NICKEL . . . .!!! If we each had even a PENNY for every time we've thought that. We'd have enough to pay the feckers off so we COULD get it pushed through. I think the argument for me would be "She's in this horrible pain all the time and you didn't expect her to do something like this? REALLY?" My fiance and family knows that without this, I would be in the mental hospital, or most likely dead. The government can feck itself. My doctors gave me no hope, so I came and got it from y'all.
