Thats how I did it too. Ice packs and Red Bull, and fast, deep breathing. I quit the Topomax too and am having the longest cycle ever! Sux! Seeds are helping tho. I can tell you this, I won't be getting back on the topamax. If you quit taking it, you will get hit, I quit it before but this time I am staying off of it for good.

Damn, was hoping the Red Bull would help. You know your body better than anyone so if its making it worse, dont mess with it. I only used oxy once and I didnt have a rebreather mask so it wasnt very helpful. People on here swear by it. Get it if you can! Print that oxy page out or write down the info and give it to your doctor. If you dont have a doctor, people on here use welders 02. Just ask, someone will send you in the right direction. Glad you have access to shrooms, thats awesome! Keep us posted!

Hey Jeff. I'm glad you found this place. I'm sorry you have CH tho, doesnt it just suck?! I am new here as well. The advice I got from here was 5 days of detox from your meds. Sounds like you need oxy. I am not experienced in that, not the proper way, and, there is a proper way. If you click on the menu on the left there is an "Oxygen" page. Bob sent me a couple of links that showed it might help OCD, but I am just terrified to quit taking it. I am gonna see if my shrink can lower me from 20s to 10s. I read on the "faq" page that mushrooms are not blocked by Prozac so think I need to take the next step. PF wishes! Rock

They seem to come every year now. I didnt seek any meds from a doc this time. I think I am done with all that. I am sold on the "alternatives."

Johnny, how did you figure it out? And thank gawd you did! Doctors told me I had migraines for 17 yrs and I believed them till a doc told me I had CH. I had never heard of it. That was just a few years ago. After that, it made complete sense, I was pissed! Hell, Im still pissed. I wonder how many women are misdiagnosed cuz they think we're pussies. (sorry bout the crassness)

Shaggy: Trying to bust. First timer. Using HBW seeds, was using ghana strain (weak), now trying hawaiin strain (strong), maybe its being stubborn cuz I quit the Topamax. Who knows?! I also am a Prozac mama, so, it blocks the seeds somewhat, but cant grow shrooms overnight. I'm trying and besides, the seeds are helping.

I believe you. I have barfed, only with 9's and 10's. And no, it wasnt a migraine. I'm trying to remember, I bet most of my barfing was taking meds. I have barfed during this cycle I am in now, only once and it was right after I downed a red bull. Yeah, its like something sets off your stomach, that normally wouldnt but your in so much pain it jacks you all up. I bet it is the nasal spray, especially if your barfing 33% of the time.

Hey Dave-O. I dont wanna piss anyone off. But I was never diagnosed by a Nuero, most of my life I have not had insurance. I was diagnosed by a regular ol doctor at a clinic. I saw many doctors over the years and they all told me I had migraines. THEY WERE WRONG! If you wake up in the middle of the night and it feels like someone is stabbing one of your eyes with an icepick, and nothing makes it go away, worse pain you've had in your life, then you probably have CH. I am sure diagnosis is a concern, ya know, to make sure there isnt something else going on in your head, but doctors have not been much help to me. Just thought I would share that. I may not be as smart as other people on here but I dont want you to struggle if you cant get to a doctor. If you read peoples stories on here and it makes you cry cuz you know exactly what they are going thru, well nuff said. If you have questions, feel free to ask. Your CH Friend, Raquel

So sorry to hear the bastard is back. I know treatment can be expensive. Lots of us dont have insurance, and even if you do, it doesnt always cover what we need it too. There are alternatives. There's lots of information on here regarding how to bust your cycle and alternatives for oxygen and the proper way to use 02. I dont have insurance but I just made it thru a cycle, almost done, and this board helped me lots! You can do it! Keep an open mind. To me, this message board has more info than 99.9% of the doctors we see. Check out the busting board. Hang in there!

this is why i log on! lol. all I can say is this website has been more helpful than any doctor I have ever seen. i think 20 years ago the docs i saw hadnt even heard of ch. that doctor needs to go back to school. Brenda, your the educated one re: the 02. I hope you get oxygen. There are many posts on here re: "welders oxygen." i have been using seeds and have been sucessful. i just went thru a cycle w/o oxy. i DON'T recomend it.
