  1. Hey Rivaman, so glad you found this place. I would still be lost without this board. The excercise thing sometimes can abort them if you dont have oxy. Sounds totaly stupid but just start running in place, jumping jacks, whatever can get your breathing going. No weed, no alcohol, no fun. The night attacks are the worst! When you feel ALONE, just come here and rant, we understand. Hang in there! Rock
  2. Fo sho! About a 5 second warning! and yeah, mine go away after that, its so sudden I dont always make it to my destination. Definately helps mine abort. So good to hear she's doing better!!! Yay! Woot Woot! Dan, I have no good reason. Kinda busy, but thats a lame excuse. Everyone here is so friggin awesome!!!
  3. Hi CH Father! I dont know if you're still reading this thread, I havent logged in for awhile. Well, I am one of those 10%. I am female and I vomit when I get 9's and 10's. Beware, the doctors told me I had migraines for years, they assume its migraines if your female and vomiting. I hate for your daughter to be misdiagnosed for 15 years like me. I think you are an awesome dad for getting on here and trying to help her! Raquel aka Rock
  4. The night time attacks suck! I dont have any advice for that. The only thing I can say is to try oxygen. I havent tried it yet but alot of people have sucess with it. Drink Red Bull super fast! Oh, and start busting with seeds or shrooms after you detox from headache meds.
  5. Welcome Chad! Most, not all, doctors are just clueless! I think it took 15 or so years before I was correctly told what I had. I have found more info and help here than any doctor. Sorry, but true. Yep, your one of us. So glad you found this place! Energy drinks do seem to help the lower level ones, also Ginger has helped mine during daytime attacks. I have read on here people mentioning scalp sensitivity. I personally dont experience it but it does exists. Anyway, welcome to the family! Rock
  6. Welcome Kleinsopp! Love to read 'good news' like this! Thanks for sharing!
  7. Good times! Life is good. [smiley=birthdays.gif]
  8. I dont know why docs are so clueless. I dont know how many different doctors I saw before I was correctly diagnosed. Plus, being a woman they just assume its a migraine. (growl) > Let us know how your oxy works out! Glad you got the hook-up!
  9. Hi Andy, thanks for sharing! Wow, cool doc. The Animaniacs totally rock btw.
  10. I agree with Dan! Red friggin tape!!! Hang in there sweets! You're a survivor! Luv the song, they play it here in the states on Indie Radio! The song is totally appropriate! Keep fighting!
  11. Thats great news Angel!!! Woo hoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. Its all good Birdman! Thrilled to hear life is good! [smiley=thumbsup.gif]
  13. I'm listening. Being a single parent with this crap sucks! I remember making sure I had everything locked up and snacks accessible for my daughter for my daytime attacks. I remember showing her how to use a microwave at 5 years of age because my attacks would last for hours. Thank god for ramen! The one positive thing is my kid is very independent and likes to do things herself. I definately think my cycles were more random and shorter before pregancy. I only remember two cycles pre-pregnancy. After pregnancy more like a cycle every two years.
  14. I know Angel, its weird. It goes away after barfing. I lost 15 lbs one time during a cycle. The cycle before my last, was a real bad one. I only barf when a get a 9 or 10.
  15. Welcome, and it isnt fair! Please hang in there! The strongest people in this world are right here and you are one of them!!! Keep fighting and writing! Rock
  16. Ting, this is stressful, huh? I have seen my lil girl throw up from a headache, I tend to do the same thing when I hit a 9 or 10, scared the hell out of me. She was around that age, 7, when it happened. I hope it was a migraine, anything but a cluster! As far as pregancy, I started a cycle when I was 9 months pregnant and for some reason, it didnt last long, shortest cycle I ever had, maybe like two weeks. I dont remember having any more CH's after she was delivered via c-section.
  17. I like that Rock-a-billy stuff! Thats going on my pod!
