  1. Now? I just need a doctor. ill tell ya. This is so far beyond crazy....
  2. O2 card. Yes. Thanx. Short & simple. I also loved the sweet symphony of the devil? Take off on old rolling stones song? Off cluster headaches site? Rather dark and sarcastic, but thats m'style I think those 2 shld do it. I rly needed short n simple! I think the o2 card is a great start. U kno... back in 1980s? I used to think... if i cld just angle my gun up alongside the right side of my nose? I cld just shoot the painful area out... i can look back and its obvious what was developing.... *now* its obvious. Been a lot of pain over a lot of years.... (u can delete this paragrph, if u need to. French.. LoL. It took french to make the connection! Have a great vaca - holiday season and thank you
  3. My migraines started after i hurt my low back 1980. But rly?? As ive gone deeper into learning abt chas? I remembered i had headaches daily riding schl bus home. Ate n had a coke n they improved. Went completely away jr yr h.s. and i cant even remember any ha's from 69 - 80. I think i maybe had aspirin in my med cabinet. Trauma induced from skating?? Maybe? Dont kno. I remember a lady who wanted all the kids to wear a hat for head protection from falls during free skate times. My mom said i didnt have to because i had a ponytail n that wld protect my head in falls... i just dont remember falling and hitting my head, tho. (That was head protect stuff back in 60s). U r right. Docs like to connect the 2.
  4. Thanx. Thats better. Deems to still have a lot of wiggle room. I will add it to list.
  5. And u kno whats rly bad? On top of the pain, which has actually been resolving? My looks i used to be kinda pretty. Not no mo. Chas took that, too Okay. Off the pity party.
  6. Does clusterbusters ever think abt doing a printable overview of how to tx CHAS in e.r.? For normal docs? Does it seem to difficult? I wld think out of all the sites ive been to? This by far the best w medical rpts n research to back things up. It might rly be of help And yes, i kno.. the CHAS change, what works now may not work later, etc... But some basics w listed below? Reference articles? Maybe? Or is ur intention to stay on the mushrooms? If so? I didn't mean to be argumentative. Sorry
  7. I use benedryl. I dont think, and i may be completely wrong, that we rly have a silver bullet to protect us from covid. Its a virus. Vitamins, minerals, diet, exercise - all help us to be healthy and strong. I got vaccinated.
  8. I need to finesse my descriptors to explain CHAS to medical personnel. I have to give myself an F so far. I did explain it to 1 lady doc who cried w her hand over her mouth.. but, perhaps i could borrow this for e.r. visits. And because i, like Juss? When CHAS strike, i tend towards speaking in tongues? Am thinking of Xeroxing some web sites because i seem to run into some ppl that just dont kno anything abt this. My last doc told me i need to be kinder to my doctors as they only receive 1 hour in med school on all headaches.... tried kinder. Didnt work. Am thinking written word may be most powerful? Thanx for this
  9. Exactly. Well documented head trauma interferes w? And frequently halts encoding of short term memory into long term memory. IOW? U dont/cant remember much abt head injuries. Covered 1ce a mc cop where a person had pulled car out of parking space, n she on mc, ran into car, sailed off n landed. Cracked helmet in half, blood coming out of nose mouth and ears. She never recovered her memory of accident at all. She survived alright n recovered;)
  10. Makes me wonder.. kids that listen to, and "headbang" to music? Maybe due to low level activation of CHAS?
  11. I dont kno. Is there direct correlation? Indirect correlation? Causal? I dont kno. I grew up ice skating, figure skating n had knocks on the head - but look at the thousands? Millions of fellow ice skaters? Juss came out of hockey world as did my dad & brothers and that fer sure cause some head bangers (the cutting edge movie? "Toe pick"? then i switched early on into horses. And theres a lotta head injuries there, too. I remember 1ce being out at dennehy's in denver and girl fell off her horse jumping the outside hunt course. Her horse came running back. Someone grabbed horse, I n another ran to her. They went to call ambulance - she was crying she'd broken her leg. I asked if she cld walk? She was prolly all of 14? She said, no. I broke my leg before when i fell off once. (See? multiple falls at speed n w force) Then she rly commenced sobbing because prior? Shed stolen her big sister's tall black *custom* leather english boots (abt $$1,000.00/per now and at er? Theyd cut her sister's boot off her leg. Boy was she in hot water and i cld relate. So, i said? How abt if i pull ur boots off? I think i can do that and not hurt ur leg... ?... ? She stopped crying and said. Yes. I pulled and boot came off easily. She went to hospital, i went home. Saved her a** but how many ppl ride? And fall from up hi? The reason god made ponies- for kids.... TY for pony breeders like molly butler n donna and paul who gave kids lessons on ponies. Urs in good deeds jury's out on head trauma - am thinking that wld -fall- under? Just the story we tell ourselves
  12. This seems confounding. There have been other similar studies. Utah. A university in Utah followed children of people who had anorexia. The children thru their lives stayed much thinner, leaner, throughout their lives, w.out trying. Carrying excess lbs is proven across the board to not be healthy overall. We've been raised on concept that DNA is hard solid. Truth is NOW we've come to see DNA as softer. IOW? The smoking issue, right off the bat? I read into it as being an epigenetic issue possibly. Also? Theres many, many medical issues we simply dont have the medical knowledge to understand at this time. Our concepts of medical info is truely in its infancy. Think abt all the hardheaded stoopid, trained & highly paid medical personel *u have run into who simply have zero knowledge of chas? What did *u kno abt chas, prior to ur personal exposure? My 50 yrs of has, tmj has, migraines, basilar migraines (from dbl impact car accdt at 120 mph), chas? I didnt kno until after 3 mhh's, and i was arrested for having a cha? What they were labeled. (Just found out ystrday? The nurse who had me arrested for having a cha? Was fired for doing something wrong. Karma & i didnt have too spin the wheel. Next wld be the doc involved who last time in er? Didnt ask or tell me? but ordered nurses to trick me and give me an injection of haldol. He thinks hes real funny. Karma Urs in educating the world abt chas.
  13. Merry Christmas, Denny. Merry Christmas, everyone. Seasons Greetings to all, to all - peace on earth.
  14. Real DNA changes wld indicate cancer. Cancer is defined as a change in the DNA that is permanent. W epigenetics u can have odd things happen (DNA is odd when i started school they said 1 theory of how DNA came? Is it came from outer space. I was like...okaaaaay- maybe? Took abt 3 yrs before i got the lightning strikes +ocean +meteorites/minerals +clay ground -- for it to make better sense. Geez i thot my conservative christian college was saying alien space invaders visited n gave us DNA :0 pgg pcc paraganglioma, pheochromocytoma, few typres may very well be cause if cha and migraines. Good docs? Good dx? Good friends? Helps ya down the road. Also ehlers danlos has popped up (w 18 sub varieties no less).. getting firm dx is always appropriate.
  15. Hypothalamus. Histamine. Low back. Neck. Thyroid. Occipitals. Nerve plexis back behind nose. Autonomous sympathetic nerve activation. Endocrine system tanks, bs levels fall, bp goes sky hi, blood pumps hard n fast. Pain goes sky hi, instant severe deep depresion n anxiety (barely describes it tho). One med report i read ('21). Stated they found a migraine gene, and they found areas on certain genes that wld account for triggering off certain ha sx. I again just have to think its dna coiling issue, not old fashioned thinking dna. So = Epigenetic. That somehow hallucinogens n/or meds cover, bridge over? Or reconfigure the places on genes where it activates the sx. Its almost more of a physical connection issue. Why wld diet, vit n min help? Again? Back to coiling. Im not the best at cell molecular level. Many min n vit's are co-enzymes, - like zinc. Necessary for proper cell activity, and dna replication. Give the body what it needs to be healthy and our bodies do have miraculous methods to repair damage. Altho, yes, DNA damage thru life happens, dna replication makes opps at times but im thinking the cha's are not oops incidents. I have hunted - and been successful 3 times - where others were not. I believe in myself, a lot. But again? There have been times i have hunted answers to med problems n not found answer. U put ur shoulder to the wall and push. Sometimes it gives. Its, like, a gift.
  16. Ahhhh, spiney. Its like cell signaling. Just complex.
  17. I am irish. Thru & thru. Both sides come from, if memory serves, northern ireland. When i was told this? . Altho?, theres the whole 7 lines of eve theory. Thats going into mitochondrial DNA and in tv shows and movies? Thats where theres not enuff body fluid or evidence to do actual DNA analysis, but!(gasp) there is enuff to do a mitochondrial dna check. And the case gets solved quickly. So... this wld mean many many of us r related -- way back.
  18. Dr. Ameisen developed interesting and successful protocol to use mega doses of baclofen to tx his alcoholism. Self reportedly successful. (La Denier Verre) In 2008 France issued approval for use of baclofen as a tx for alcoholism. Ive seen so many referrals in literature all over, indications Baclofen can be helpful in cha tx program. Has anyone attempted to utlise mega doses of Baclofen to tx cha? Im notnotnot advocating for anyone to try this, not a medical proffesional in any way so i dont tx dx medical conditions. I am left wondering IF the references to baclofen as adjunt tx for cha springs forth from the low back injury scenario causing nerve impulses to go up to brain where it ends with? Eh, voila! Histamine cha? My orthopedic surgeon referred to it as nerve root irritation. This would also align closely to mast cell activation syndrome (mcas) or even mastocytosis. If we hew strongly to that view then benedryl, atavan, dexamethasone (bad) is protocol most frequently utilised. But mcas is abt low back injury causing nerve irritation to trot up brain carrying info body is in pain? And mast cells break apart to release histamine. Areas most often affected we wld expect to see? Gut. Thyroid. Brain. The mcas acts as a secondary immune defense to protect a body from injury/attack w large clusters of mast cells predominately around abdominal cavity, throat(by thyroid), and once again? Eh, voila- Large amounts mast cells around brain. Now... if baclofen rly helps cha? Due to being a skeletal muscle relaxant specifically developed for sciatic nerve pain (sharp, never ending, like a knife) . It would give further credence to the whole inflamation theory Inflam-> histamine ->cha. Okay.. so that lines up like dominoes:) Begs question: how wld microdosing hallcinogenic mushrooms affect the cha along the line of mcas n bad? I read n read - the thot thats been lately popping up is hallucinogens change dna (im old, that was verbally tossed @ ALL the time back in 70s, that LSD wld change dna). I am left w thinking, again, that hallucinogens work via epigenetic manner to heal? Or to correct dna spooling up? Might baclofen also affect spooling of dna so gene area which causes alcoholism also gets overlaid correctly, albeit temporarily? Might be how/why halluucinogens work for tx cha.
  19. U can find documentation that the doctor who developed the TSH test which is like 'testing for thyroid problems for dr dummies'... spoke out w determination that the tsh test was only for use as backup if a doctor thot they were on track that a patient's thyroid was causing problems. He never saw that the med industry wld turn it into a diagnostic tool to determine correct dosing of thy meds. Thyroid can be.. tricky. At times illusive for correct dx. Thyroid plays into how a body manages immune system & allergies. If u suspect allergies? It can often work w thyroid dysfunction. Thyroid is like a master gland to overmanage endocrine system. Liver? Thyroid? Big connection. Liver leads into gut issues. Insulin levels also affected by thyroid.
  20. Axel_b - if laying dwn increases cha? Do u have neurally mediated bp? Or pots? 'Good' low bp? If so... laying doen will increase ur bo - so ur body physiological response wld be opposite from others. Lay dwn? BP goes up - that pumps more blood faster n harder n that wld make any kind of ha worse. Wld also explain difficulty falling asleep. U get tired - cause bp is low, sit up, put book down, turn off light. All that sitting up makes BP go low. Lay dwn n BP rises n u cant fall asleep. Make sense
  21. I also do the weird deep breaths during cha's. Indeed it changes body chemistry, rly changes acidity/alkinine pH values. It might simply be changing that blood pH changes the oxygen going to ur brain similarly as deep sea diving wld, or diving W and N and going to a higher altitude.i dont try to breathe that way, but i do.
  22. Diamondmaker- i said not all indoles lock in the same way? Might this be an epigenetic situation? Perhaps the busting u guys speak of? Is in an odd way reformating of dna coiling to shut den access to epigenetic events. Iow. Maybe its not so much a receptor("locking") issue as it is abt changing the manner in which dna re.coils @ histone hub? Which wld address ur "locking" theory. See?

Jus. Don't stop podting ur research links. You will maybe never kno how much of a gisnt help they turned into for me. Building blocks. There are many many papers written w numerous attibutations. Enuff that i see them slowly closing in on dx, tx and more precise understandings. I once had to try to figure out a disease in my dogs. There were 5 (five) papers written n published on it, in the whole world, at that time. The links to articles r ... fascinating. U helped me hugely. I bow dwn to u in gratitude(dont go all swoll headed on me ;). But. Thank you.
  24. A loong time ago - 36 yrs ago - i only had migraines, or so i thot, and i had an excellent physical therapist - arlene mowder. She did many different types of massage. Once? I remember having a ha for almost a week. She started working on me & using myofacial release techniques. Id had multiple work injuries. She worked on my headache and it DID resolve. My conclusion now? My cha's were advancing. Her mf release helped - but she was outstanding in her work. So, in conclusion? Yes, maybe done correctly by the right person? Mf release wld mimic acupuncture. I havent tried it personally. Sukie Baxter has a most excellent utube on massaging ears a specific way for vagal release to slow the autonomic system. It can help.
  25. I am curious. Do the people on here see this phenomenon of CHA as being autoimmune? Or definitely not? Just curious. Thanking you for your thoughts and views.
