    anxiety

I guess I'm kind of with Bejeeber on this one. Maybe the extended pain-free time you've enjoyed recently could be viewed as a type of sign - a sign that it might be time to start seeking out a work situation that won't cause your other maladies to become worse. Maybe it's time to start thinking along the lines of a home-based business of your own - where you're the only one who can fire or discipline you. Good luck!

Are you on total disability due to your CH or due to your anxiety?
  3. Splurged and bought a guaranteed space ticket (which is so against my nature) arriving Wednesday afternoon - JUST so I can see the Shelby facility. (And Racer...)
  4. Unfortunately, we are sometimes stricken by more than one malady at a time. Sux.
  5. Arriving sometime Thursday. Not sure when as I am flying standby.
  6. Sorry, man. Living large in the land of Laverne and Shirley. Come to the CB conference in Las Vegas on 09/21 & 22. There'll be so many of us you won't have time to meet everybody. Seriously, it is guaranteed to be a life-changing experience.
  7. (She asked to be called that cuz that's the name of her studio) www.mosaicwench.com
  8. First glimpse at the wench's "contribution in progress" to this year's auction: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151174674431449&set=a.10151046425671449.479673.354672391448&type=1&theater
  9. Question: 1.4 - 1.5g of FRESH or DRIED?
  10. Re: O2 tanks. I keep a "D" tank in my car. I keep an "E" tank in my office. I keep an "M" tank at home. All three are fitted with regulators that have a DISS valve and are ready for me to affix my demand valve with a few simple twists and one snug with an open-end wrench. When in cycle, that demand valve and that wrench go EVERYWHERE I go. Just keep the Boy Scout motto in the forefront of your mind. Car. Office. Home. Rarely do I have to lug an O2 tank anywhere because there's always one less than 2 minutes away from me.
  11. Bring your checkbook - I think there are several others who may have the same notion.Â
  12. In order of importance: 1. An understanding boss. 2. An oxygen tank under my desk at all times. 3. Understanding co-workers. 4. A reliable preventative regimen. 5. A decent health insurance plan.
  13. Outstanding! It will be great to see you two again!
  14. Be advised: It's not a typical cancellation policy. I believe you would need to cancel 72 hours in advance in order to receive your full refund. (Most hotels only require you to cancel by 3 or 4 p.m. the scheduled day of arrival.)
  15. Probably best not to mention last names anyhow.
  16. Yep. I'm goin'. Got my room reserved, still need to get my airline ticket and pay my way through the door. I also very much enjoyed Bailey's presentation. Sort of the culmination of why we're all still here. Why am I going? I could list a thousand reasons, but this one sums it up: I can't NOT go.
  17. If the business I own employs drivers and/or pilots that are governed by DOT and/or FAA rules, you can bet I'm going to want to know if you're a drug user. My business is LIABLE for people and stuff that you kill, maim, or destroy. All the more reason to fight to make it legal for a clusterhead to bust under the supervision of a doctor. I don't know how much clearer I can express my opinion on this.
  18. Being married to the love of my life for well over half my years, I was reminded this morning on the way to work what meaningful relationships are all about. I popped in an album that I hadn't listened to in years. It's one of my favorites, and I don't like to listen to it too often because there are parts that will reduce me to tears at inconvenient moments (like at 65 mph in heavy traffic). Anyhow, I share with you the lyrics from All The World by Kansas, copyright 1975 (Steve Walsh and Robbie Steinhardt): All the world's forgiving, the change is all around And people everywhere have seen the light in what they've found It's a happy place in the human race When all our lives are lived forgiving All the world's for living when love is what you find Despair and loneliness, you've got to leave them far behind Tell the clouds to go, let the feeling show It's great when your life is full of living Everyone's aware They know to change the world we've got to care And people all should know, should have happened long ago Or could it be that I just now found out Life is meant to share And it means the same thing everywhere Living everyday, helping people on their way 'Cause sometimes life gives everyone some doubts Can I have time? Is it right what I feel? At times I doubt what I normally know is real But right now I don't know what to do and it's all because of you I could tell you if I knew that you'd believe As slight and elusive as life sometimes is Right or wrong as we both know we all can be I could never have denied that I need you by my side 'Cause without you life don't seem that much to me I can see an old man cry, it's his time to die And life no longer gives him any breaks He hasn't got a home, no one to call his own Still he tells no one that it is more than he can take Till the time is so unkind, an empty future plays in your mind When the darkness cries out to you Can you escape it? What can you do? Oh, what can you do? All the world's forgetting the hate that filled our hearts The times of selfish reasoning that keeps us all apart This world was meant to share, let them know you care By making someone's life worth living All the world's believing that this feeling's got to stay Till all the world is living Till all the world is giving Till all the world is loving every day
  19. They're perfectly legal and constitutional, by the way - as a condition of employment. If you're going to work for me, and my company is liable for your actions, I'm kinda gonna wanna know if you're a crack head.
  20. Mrs. Brew is working on a special, one of a kind piece of art which will make its way to Las Vegas this year.
  21. Even the non-rebreathers I've gotten from the oxygen company that worked properly did not hold a candle to the O2ptimask. Get it. You won't be sorry.
  22. I differ from the Illuminati in that, in my book, what you do on your own time is your own business as long as it doesn't infringe upon the rights and freedoms of others. Now give me back my god-damned cat!
