thanks CHF and Diamonmaker. He was hit this morning ( I feel awful ,, i had to disrupt his sleep to register for spring semester or he wouldnt get his classes), when i was on the phone talking to him i could hear the tell tale runny nose. I asked if he was ok .. he said yeah for now .. after i hung up i guess he felt it comming and jumped on the O2, this time knocked it out in 15 minutes.. we're getting better. He said the O2 definately helps. I'm hoping with forsite that its comming we can shorten it even more. Since charting his headaches at present he has only had 10 or so a year. Im not ready to have him on a preventative all the time for only 10 CH's. Especially if he can knock them out in 15 minutes or less. I think my next approach will be the vitamin D.  I did purchase some RC seeds but im sure they are old now, the only thing i have done with them is plant them !! I have a nice vine in the backyard. I am still in the observation phase of all this .. even though its been 2 years now.

I remember mentioning to my son last year that dehydration might be an issue. he began to drink more water, honestly i dont know if it helped. it may have. i do know that aside from the days getting shorter, all the trees are loosing leaves making the air much drier. He's been sneezing alot etc. some more water couldnt hurt, just dont know about the quantities in the water X3 method.

thanks CHF ,, no he doesnt smoke. He didnt have the mask strapped on, but there is one so i will remove/cut it. I will have to look at the mask I know it is a non-recirculating one. we have 2 tanks .. the one he used last night is a portable one. the other is gargantuan and lives in the garage right now. not sure we could carry it up stairs ??? he did hold the mask to his face and lean over into it.  I'm not really a hoverer,, i just laid on the floor next to the chair with my eyes closed, i know he doesnt like to be questioned when he is giong through this .. my husband is more of a hoverer. I think at least for now he appreciated me being there while we try all this out. Im sure like anything once we have it figured out that he wont want my input. Does your daughter ever use the imitrex injectables ?? i have those now .. but am lothe to use them,, it just seems like poison Â

Hi Jeebs .. it would but he is adamant about not having "that thing" in his room (perhaps we will change his mind). I fear a little his falling asleep with the mask on too,,, we havnt discussed that yet. in my groggy state i compleatly forgot about the RedBull,, i have one in the back fridge in a paper bag that im hanging onto for such cases. If i just buy them and dont cover them up he will see and drink them all and then not have one when he needs it.. thanks for the recommendations !! Sadly, im sure we will perfect the O2 abort method with all the help here.

if you look at these pictures of the impacted wisdom tooth its laying on the lingual nerve ,, my son is giong to have this coronectomy procedure. look at it afterwards and see that the root is lifted off the nerve. http://www.fmshk.org/database/articles/03db2.pdf then look at where the lingual nerve connects .. right to the trigimenal ?? http://www.yale.edu/cnerves/cn7/cn7_18.html

also found What are the signs and symptoms of impacted wisdom teeth? The patient feels and describes a symptom, while other people, including the physician or nurse detect a sign. For example, headache may be a symptom while dilated pupils may be a sign. maybe im clinging to false hope ..

I also forgot to add this. The orthopedic surgeon said that he is only going to remove 3, the third one is to close to the nerve ????? he said there is a new procedure that they are doing where they dont remove the whole tooth,, but take it down to the bone and the bone will grow over it ( I was not there i could kick myself now) he said because the one tooth is so close to the nerve by trying to remove it they could cause permanant nerve damage ,, I wonder ???? is it already permanently damaged ??

it did SOMETHING ,, doctors need to figure out what the SOMETHING is. Botox will wear off. the body assimilates it . thats why women of the OC have to go for regular injections. but knowing what muscle group it relaxed and relived pressure off of what neves is important. per your first post you say "The doctor shot 200ml of Botox in muscle infour different spots in my cervical spine. From the bottom of my neck up to the top at the base of my head. ( my cluster knot) " and you state exactly where those injections were placed please ? thanks so much.

My son woke me up at 4am this morning, they're here .. it was our first time trying the oxygen prescribed by dr. Kudrow. It was set at 8 which i know you all say here is to low but we tried it for 15 minutes. The last 5 i cranked it up 15 then backed off to 10, my son said "put it back to 15" so i did ,, evidentally he could tell the difference. He was on it for 20 minutes ,, but every 5 or so i had him take a few breaths of regular air per instructions here. Our first attempt didnt get rid of it compleately but knocked it down to where he could tell it was leaving at which point he said he was going to get into the shower. the hot water running over him seems to help as that has always been his MO. I waited till he got out to ask what he thought. He said the oxygen made it manageable. I know he waited to long to come to me last night. I will have to make sure at the very first sign he comes to me and we start with a higher flow. its just really depressing (im sure all you parents know), you just hope when you see your child having fun and leading a normal life that maybe this time its gone for good. He turns 21 next month, im pretty sure he isnt going to care about celebrating with alcohol now. just as a side note i want to add ,, if you have read my previous posts about wisdom teeth. yesterday he had his consult with the orthopedic surgeon to have them removed ? is this a coincedince,, the dentist poking around in there yesterday taking x-rays and his attack this am ?? im still not convinced there isnt something connected there. anyway .. thanks for being there and listening you all. you have helped someone that may have gone years never knowing what he was suffering from.

careful .. we had a lady die from a radio contest on how much water can you drink. she flushed all the electrolytes out of her body and went into a coma and died. I also personally know of a body builder that was due to compete so was drinking tons of water to flush her system. same thing happened to her and she had a stroke. now permanantly paralyzed on one side of her face. just sayin

Has anyone skipped a cycle for no reason ?
didgens replied to didgens's topic in Research & Scientific News
no hes not on preventative because when i described his cycles and symptoms to Dr. Kudrow he said that he was a-typical (?) .. and didnt follow the normal CH pattern (if there is one). my son will be 21 nov 12th. a little nervous cuz he has a consult for wisdom teeth removal on thurs. but from what i have heard that doesnt mean much so im trying not to be nervous,, just hoping that when he gets them out it doesnt trigger anything -

Hey Emil ,, which method did you try may i ask ?? the RC method .. ?? vit D ? M&M's ? thanks -
So is it correct to say that the Botox is causing the muscles to relax and stop putting pressure on a/some/one nerve ??? if that is the case cant your doctor isolate which of the shots and what nerve/muscle group is the culprit ?? finding the root is so very important. just sayin maybe your doc would be willing to work with you for the sake of all to find the magic bullet as it were ? thanks sooooooo much by the way ~!

Wisdom teeth ?? anyone still got um ?
didgens replied to didgens's topic in Research & Scientific News
thanks alley ,, i will definately make sure the surgeon knows this. Which is odd .. because I cannot handle the EPI. Everytime I go to the dentist or everytime i ever got a cortozone shot they had to do it without EPI ,, my heart races and i see the little black blobs indicating im going to passout .. bad juju ,,, interesting. thanks all -
OK so im still just waiting right now.. have the O's ,, have the imitrex injectables. Son hasnt started his phase yet. Winds have been HORRIBLE (Santa Anas over the weekend) he's been sneezing and sniffling but not CH yet. But the Dentist did say that his wisdom teeth are causing real problems in his other teeth.. his mouth is way to crowded. I had read ONE report of someone whos CH's stopped after having a tooth/teeth removed. So i was going to take a poll here .. has anyone here had them removed ? or do you still have them ? thanks all
