I got an email from Dr. Goadsby's office asking questions that I couldn't answer. I think I'd rather than make a fool of myself in front of you guys than in front of them so I'll ask you for help. I received and am paraphrasing the following from Dr. Goadsby's Practice Manager: From my record requests, weÂ’ve received the records from Dr. X. Dr. X is the referring doctor, is that correct? Does he have a PMD? If so what is that the PMDÂ’s info? What is the address and insurance information for Michael? Dr. X is not the referring doctor - the Jeebs is. Dr. X has become both Michael's and my primary doctor (PMD?) since our original primary doctor moved away. Dr. X is a pain specialist who I was referred to after my neck surgeries. I gained so much respect for the man that I asked him if he would take Michael on as a patient. He accepted, so now he's the go-to guy for both Mike and I about medical issues. So, is he our PMD? Maybe that's an acronym used in Europe? I'm anxious to answer the email. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks, Ron

This isn't something that just anybody can do. For those of you who don't know him, Denny is one of those guys who can do everything and any time he runs across something that he doesn't know how to do, he teaches himself how to do it. Denny's clearly a nut-case but he's also an exceptionally capable and interesting man.

We've all said or done things that we wished we could take back (I'm still embarrassed, AO). In most instances, a short period of embarrassment, with it's attendant apologies and lessons learned, quickly fades in our rear-view mirrors. For a moment, the listening public - with it's incredibly short attention span - heaps shame on the culprit and pity on the victim. We each play one of those 3 parts so frequently that the drama itself must have great survival value.

Cool tats. Is there a theme?

Thanks, Tommy, we needed that.

I got an email back from Dr. Goadsby's office: "We have not received any outside records." Amazing! I called the Postal Annex where I had some of Mike's stuff faxed a week ago. They faxed to the wrong number. I called Mike's Dr.'s office to see if they sent all Mike's records last week as I was told. They've been very busy but will send out tomorrow or the next day. When things like this happen in our family, we call it "Leyva luck." Ahhhhhhh.......

I haven't heard anything more from Dr. Goadsby's office. I sent an email to his Practice Manager earlier today asking if they received all of Mike's pertinent medical records and if they could give me an idea when the good doctor could see him. I'll let you know. Ron

The 1st time Michael took a psychedelic (1/2 tab LSD) for his HA, he didn't notice anything until he woke up the next morning. He came running up the stairs yelling "my headache's gone, all of it, even the background HA." Pretty much a "cartwheel" state, I'd say. This is the 1st I've heard of an insurance company paying for the rental cost of a demand valve. How much additional was the D.V.? Let us know how well it works for you. Good luck tonight! Ron

Hi. What does it do, the .5 gram?

Good questions, Mystina. I don't remember a thread on air travel (doesn't mean there wasn't one). Really helpful information, b.g. Any more experts with some good advice on flying in airplanes? Thank you. Ron

Glad to see you're back, Matty. Awesome about The Jeebs, huh? Ron

Hi, Tod. A lot's happened in the last 3 years. Anything that was proven effective then has probably been perfected. Things that were just a dream, like BOL, will be available very soon. You came back at the perfect time, TOD. It's a great time to be a clusterhead. Ron

It sure does look to me like you know what you're doing. I'm glad that O2/Red Bull work so well for you. I don't have an answer to your verap/dopakote question but it seems that any time you relax your guard, the demon tests your defenses and if he can find a work-a-round or a way through a weak point, you're gonna get hit. Thanks, Dan. Haven't heard anything from Dr. Goadsby's office since making arrangements to get Michael's medical records to him. I have every confidence that we will, I just don't know when. I'll let everyone here know when we do. Michael's hurting but he went to work yesterday and intends to again today. He really likes his job. But, still.... Ron

I spent from about 1:00A-3:00A this morning composing a reply to Jerry's (CHfather's) post. It was humbly apologetic and mostly in full agreement with Jerry's statement. And then my puter crashed and I lost what I'd written. Too late to rewrite it, I went to bed. I'm kinda glad that happened because I feel differently today than I did last night. In case any of you haven't noticed, Jerry's a really, really smart guy. And he's probably right. I'm just not as sure about his rightness today as I was last night. RC seeds are often written off as poor substitutes for the stronger psychedelics like LSD and Psilocybin. It seems that people want LSD but can't find it so they start a mushroom garden or hit the streets looking for shrooms. They try the seeds while waiting to find the "good" stuff. Often they're pleasantly surprised and the seeds are all they need. More often, I think, they're not. Maybe it's poor preparation. Maybe a bad batch. Maybe they didn't give the seeds enough of a shot before finding their shrooms. Whatever. Our experience - and that of many others (maybe mostly chronics) - is that the seeds are tried in good faith with the expectation that they have a good chance of working. The number of seeds builds up to nauseating levels and the perceived successes of the lower levels comes to be seen as wishful thinking - imaginary. Finally, a source is found for shrooms or the garden comes in or perhaps even a couple of tabs of LSD. Complete busting success! Expectation plays a big part in that success. If seeds aren't considered serious busting agents, they probably won't work. The opposite is also true. What's becoming increasingly clear is that the combination of RC seeds and the D3 regimen, along with a proper oxygen set-up and detox flat-out works. I just don't think it works as well, for the most people, as the "far better busting agents" LSD and Psilocybin. What's you guys' experience? Ron

Hi b.g., Just one suggestion: If you are, as you say, 'geared up' for starting your mushroom grow, don't wait to see if the seeds work before starting. It'll be a couple of months - at least - till you see enough shrooms for a dose. Psilocybin is a far better busting agent than seeds and once your little farm starts producing, you'll soon have enough to share with others. Welcome aboard. Ron

Hi Jim, Like CHfather sez, depends on how long since you were here. This is pretty cool: http://www.google.com/url?q=http://www.clusterheadaches.com/cb/yabbfiles/Attachments/Cephalgia_article_on_Bromo-LSD.PDF&sa=U&ei=DgOWTt-lA83KiQL-sNHSDQ&ved=0CBcQFjAC&sig2=2c0kQgM42z6fV1idr_ryUQ&usg=AFQjCNHeGv6dDcuVPL2kYwlnrSwVkxtELQ Look around. I'm sure you'll find other interesting stuff you don't know about. Ron

Don't be sad, Oscar. We're going to go see the world's foremost cluster headache specialist. Plus, I'll bet we're all going to get BOL or or something very similar to it a lot sooner than you think. Mike's okay. Thanks for the sentiment, though. We're going to be fine. Greetz Ron

I spent the day doing what needed to be done to get Mike's records from his doctor/hospital to Dr. G. Of course, my fax machine took a dump on me and I had to drive to a Kinko's in town. Mike's better today. He's up and around, still getting hit pretty hard - but better. He wants to go to work Wed. We'll see how he feels. Ron Thanks again, Jeebs!

Hi Oscar, It's great to hear from you. Congrats on losing your shadows while driving through the mountains in the South of France, on holiday, after 3 weeks in Sunny Spain. Damn, Dude, I'll bet a vacation like that would give most of us a lift. I guess altitude effects different people in different ways. I'm glad you were helped by it. Ron

I'm glad our medicine isn't made like this....

I think mine level's closer to 67.
