CHFather, this is Mike, I just wanted to say a personal thanx for starting the "messages to Michael" board. Having my father read what others had written to me really helped me through some dark, difficult times. When I got to points where I was at my wits end these words of encouragement helped more than any drug or treatment ever could. From the bottom of my heart "Thank you so very much." also to all that even kept me in their thoughts every bit has helped no matter how small. If we all can continue to do so for all who need it as well, I feel we can make some amazing progress ourselves, in an area the medical field has not had much luck in. Hi Narelle, Very pretty name. Don't ever even consider giving up. You will beat this thing and your daughter will get PF. No question about it. It may take a lot of experimentation on your part and a bit of time but you'll get there. Lots of things to try. Just a matter of finding the right combination. Learn as much as you can. Danny, I quit beer, dope and cigarettes all at once on my wife's birthday about 20 years ago. Of course, I do all of those things now but that's beside the point. I remember the very next day I felt so good I couldn't believe it. I could breathe better, see and hear better, much more energy; it was amazing. That wonderful feeling persisted for some 12 years until I decided I'd rather do those things than be healthy. You'd think I was smarter than that. You'd think that by now I'd have grown up. Stick with it. For your loved ones' sakes. I saw an ad recently where some asshole/jerk said that every cigarette you smoke deprives those you love of 7 minutes of time that they get to spend with you. I can't get it out of my head. Every time I light up a cigarette or open a beer. Takes a lot of the fun out of it. Might help you stay quit. Maybe the combination of my own shame and your example will get me to quit. Nah. We need money and we need a famous face for a modest campaign. I don't know how we'd find either. It seems that if we had just one of those things, it could be used to conjure up the other. So, how can we get our hands on one of them? Ideally, a Clusterhead with a last name like Walton or Gates would happen onto our site and out of gratitude for successfully busting his own CH, would dedicate his fortune to a cure. Unlikely? Yeah, prolly won't happen; but maybe on a smaller scale it could. I can't believe that there're no filthy rich Clusterheads or clusterhead celebrities around who wouldn't be willing to help us. But how to find such a person? Hello. Anybody out there? The business world employs men called "head-hunters" who comb the corporate world for executives who can be lured away from current employers with offers of better wages or circumstances. Maybe some of the tools they use to find a particular type of person with a particular set of skills could be employed in our search for a rich, celebrity Clusterhead. I just checked and we have 1179 registered members. Out of those, somebody has to either be or know a head-hunter. I'm gonna advertise for one right now. Ron

I like your insert/bulletin idea, Jerry. The racks in Doctor's offices with info about many different disorders are mostly filled with cheap, folded, single-color flyers. Why couldn't we do the same thing? A handful of inexpensive flyers titled "Suicide Headache" sent to every Dr.'s office, church and school in the country might be extremely helpful. I wonder how much it would cost. Maybe we could get the Surgeon Generals office to print and mail them for free! Ron

So sorry about your mom, Ting. I lost both my parents recently; my mom 5 years ago and my pop 2. We were very close. I was an only child. I'm still having a pretty rough time of it. I hope your mother's illness serves to bring you and your siblings closer together and that your mom recovers. Pretty sure it's still being worked on. The camera crew left Hipshot's house after filming there only recently. Maybe we'll see it sometime this Fall.

Mike's noticed nothing from the Warfarin. He's only taking 2.0mg/day. All participants in the trial busted as they were increasing their dosages from 2.0 up to about 10.0mg/day. He'll see the doctor tomorrow with results from 1st blood test which provides a baseline. Ron

Hi Brook, Welcome to our site. How is it that you know you have CH and how long have you had it? There're several kinds of extremely painful headaches with different treatments for each of them. You need a definitive diagnosis from an accredited headache specialist. If you do have CH, have researched the various treatments and decided to try psychedelics, are you certain that the mushrooms you got are what you were told that they are? Dry the mushrooms until they're "cracker-dry," then weigh them so you know how much you have. Wait to eat them until you 1st sense the headaches returning.
