Hi Thoro, I've yet to hear of anyone having an adverse reaction to RC seeds though I suppose if you take enough of anything you'd probably wish you hadn't. My son took 125 seeds with no reaction and that may well happen to you but since you've already got them, why not at least double your initial dose and see if anything happens. If not, read as much as you will in the ClusterBuster Files about busting with psychedelics and begin your search for a source. Good luck. Ron

It didn't happen. And probably won't again this week. He missed a day when we were w/out meds and we wanted him to stabilize at the new higher level before INR'ing him again. Next Monday.

Your Aunt and Grandmother are very lucky to have you, Tomboy. So many people suffer with these damn things who have no one; no one to advocate for them like you're doing now for your loved ones. Hi christy, Wow! You're an expert. AND... you're my friend. Cool. His last INR was 1.1. That was when he was taking 4.0 mg/day of the Warfarin. Yesterday, his doctor raised his intake to 8.0 mg/day. In the study, participants warfarin levels were raised much quicker than is practical for us since Michael can't get blood tests every day. Do you have any idea how much he'll be taking by the time his INR reaches 1.5? Ron p.s. - Do you see any danger here? How high can they raise his INR and still be safe?

Hi zenchow, If you haven't already, order RC seeds today! They're going to be your best bet in the short run. Virtually everyone finds that hyperventilating oxygen through a non-rebreather mask works. It is their go-to best friend when a HA is imminent. You NEED to get hooked up with a proper set-up ASAP. Read what you can about psychedelics and their use in aborting CH. LSD and Psilocybe mushrooms are the most readily available busting agents around. They're illegal but they flat out work. You have to decide if you're willing to go that route and if so begin your search. It could take a while. Hi Mom, Backattcha. We feel the same about you and Andrew. No need to worry much about Michael. He's taking the detox as slow as he needs to to be comfortable (sorta). He upped his Warfarin intake to 6.0mg/day today. We have a lot of confidence in this stuff. He's still busting every couple of weeks though not as effectively as he used to (1 tab of LSD night b4 last). Licorice helps. He'll be okay. Always good to hear from you. Love, Ron

Ola Tomas, Welcome. An exceptionally well-written first post. Looks like you've been pretty busy. I'll answer what I can. Others will follow with more and probably better ideas. First off, ENT (ear/nose/throat) guys aren't given enough training in headache diagnosis/treatment for something as rare and difficult to treat as CH. You really should see a headache specialist, typically a neurologist with specialized training in headache diagnosis and treatment. These guys are around but you may have to do some digging to find one. This is the first step and it may take a while. You may have to see more than one. After getting an accurate diagnosis of CH and depending on your doctor's level of sophistication, you'll probably want to dump him and all his useless, harmful medications. If you do have CH - and from your description I'm not sure that you do - we can help. This website is a very good resource for information about the various "alternative" treatments for CH. The ClusterBuster Files can be accessed from the Forum Jump at the bottom of this page. Just start in. You'll find almost all of it interesting. Watch this video: It's a talk by our founder, Bob Wold and gives an overview of what we're doing here. The best all-around, cheapest, safest CH abortive anyone's come up with yet is hyperventilating pure oxygen. Hi guys, RC seeds are the mildest busting agent in our arsenal. They pose little threat to either your sanity or your stomach. Nothing to be afraid of. Try them first. They may be all you need. For oxygen to be effective, it must be hyperventilated through a non-rebreather mask (e.g. O2PTimask) and delivered at the rate of 25+ LPM. Lower rates of flow and the use of common rebreather masks is ineffective. You won't believe the difference a good mask at a high flow rate makes. Shrooms lose their potency with age. Unless they're picked, immediately dried, sealed in an air-tight container and kept in the freezer in the dark, they won't last 8 months. If that's all I had and didn't have access to more, I'd probably try them anyway. Ron

Do the best you can to detox, gu411. As long as you have ready access to shrooms, they're worth trying even if you can't completely detox. It's best of course if you can. But if you can't, try it anyway. You've got nothing to lose but your headache. Ron
